Of course they won't run him. That would involve the Democrats offering up a candidate who is neither an unqualified pacifist nor a race baiter. You know ... someone who doesn't make you puke.

He must be the Republican, not Democrat anymore. If he can run inside the Democrat, he must campaign himself for the DNC Chairman by campaigning for his fellow Prebysterian Jay Rockefeller the secret Prebysterian pro-life Conservativefor Democrat for President 2008, 2012, or 2016. He is done! Unlike Jay Rockefeller, he is a kicked-out from the Democrats. Remember, In 1976, he supported Jimmy Carter for President and made Jimmy Carter elected. After he complained Jimmy Carter for the Democrat abortions, he made Ronald Reagan elected for President in 1980 and reelected in 1984, and also made George Bush Sr. elected for President in 1988. During 1992, he jumped back to his fellow Democrats to campaign for Bill Clinton for President. In 2000 and 2004, he jumped out to campaign for George W. Bush election and reelection for President. Zell Miller's campaign for 2004 Election absolutely and obviously made him a kicked-out Democrat. He'd better to become a Republican, not the Democrat anymore. By this situation, I am going to tell him DON't BE FOOLISH TO STAY INSIDE THE DEMOCRAT AND KEEP THE NAME OF THE DEMOCRAT! He can try to be the President Andrew Johnson who was the long-time Democrat and the short-time Republican U.S. President after Abraham Lincoln. This Democrat is not the Democrat during the President F. D. Rooselvelt, the President Harry S. Truman, and the President John F. Kennedy what he's expecting about. The former Kennedist Democrats were really kind and impartial, and the present Clintonic Democrats are practically arrogant, flip-flopping in principles, pretending to be Moderate, hawkish against the loyal U.S. Citizens, and socially selfishly egotiastic (the Populist, not Libertarian). During 1964, George W. Bush was enlisted to the Vietnam War, a Kennedist Democrat Ben Barnson from Texas saved George W. Bush and other millionaire and billionaire children into the Air National Guard or other kinds of the safer positions during their military custody. Zell Miller is inside the hawkish way of Ariel Sharon and Joe Liebermann the most hawkish Democrat Presidential Nominee 2004 who resigned from the nomination and voted for President Bush. He is too old now. If he can run for any position, he can be a Republican to replace and best his fellow Georgian Newt Gingrich to gain more Conservative supports. He is kind of the hawkish supporter for Abraham Lincoln, Dick Cheney, Jeb Bush, and Newt Gingrich. I like it! Why can't?

Couldn't win a coin-toss in the Democratic party these days. Too much baggage both within and without the party. Were he the nominee, imagine the fun the GOP has with Flip-flop Zell.

Was an up and comer in the Democratic party during the 1990's when he was the moderate governor of Georgia. However he will get nowhere with the Democrats today after his scathing speech criticizing the party in the Republican convention. Could do well in the South, but can't win the Democratic primary.

Not a chance in hell is he gonna run for the 2008 Democratic nomination. Many Dems loathe the traitor. He's got lotsa explaining to do. He won't be forgiven for dissin' my man, Kerry. ... He should bolt to the GOP.

Because of his refusal to sell his morals to the Democrats in the last election, he's bascially become an outcast. What ever happened to that big tent party the Democrats always talked about?

This is a Democrat that could win some red states in the South, Midwest, and Rocky Mountain regions. The problem for Zell is that he doesn't have a chance of winning his party's nomination. He's too conservative for most Democrats. Like Bush and Dean, Zell is true to his convictions and doesn't say just anything to get votes (like Kerry, Clinton, and Edwards).

I think he is done with politics at this point in his life, and there would be no way the Democrats would nominate this man, who many view as a traitor to their party.

What? This is the dumbest name on the list. He even admitted he was really a Republican. Am I the only liberal-leaning person at this website?

He's retired and is probably the most hated individual by the party in their party. You have a better chance of him taking a job in the White House but I doubt that as well. I think he meant it when he said he was retiring.

No chance. Too old, too conservative and he betrayed the party when it needed him most. There is no place for principles like his in a presidential race (a bipartisan observation).

Hard nosed. Loves his country. Tells it like it is. The DEMS won't have him, but us Republicans surely like him. I think he could be very useful and the DEMS let him go. I would ask him to run as a VP candidate, especially if you have a liberal on the #1 spot. To ZELL with Hillary Clinton. HA HA HA. I'm kidding he would hurt the DEMS not help. He would hurt if the Republicans put him on their ticket too. He is good for speeches and little else.
