Maybe as a vice-president candidate with John McCain, in the 'Pro-War Mavericks Who Will Never Admit They Were Wrong' Party...

Hmm... his own party just cut his throat and now he has to try to retain his current job as an independent candidate? Somehow I don't see him on the guest list but if he ran as an independent I think it would be a real gas.
luridlloyd 07/10/2006
Didn't he play opposite the puppet on the TV show Alf?
Drummond 05/16/2006
Hopefully he won't even be Senator next fall. Ned Lamont is running a surprisingly strong primary challenge, though Lieberman is threatening to run as an independent in the fall if he loses.

might make for a good turd under my shoe.. liberman is one of the most useless human beings to walk this planet. i live in his state (Connecticut), everyone hates him here. if he runs, i am positive he will not even win his own state. it's a waste of his time and money to run. sorry joesph

I would rather vote for Joe Mama

Finally! A Dem that not only knows the truth, but also has a back bone. Very hard to find in Washington.
James76255 07/09/2005
Not a bad guy. They could definately do worse, and have. I just think it's kind of funny how the Democrats spend so much time pushing thier candidate to the middle, trying to trick people into believing they are Moderate, and essentially making them what Joe Liebermann is. Yet, they push Joe in the corner and pretend he isn't there.
GenghisTheHun 07/09/2005
He probably missed his chance and should just grin and bear it.
CA4life 06/07/2005
A good honest man who believes that he is doing the right thing. But he will never win the democratic nomination, due to the fact that he sides with George Bush more often then not, plus he makes Al Gore look exciting.
nathew 06/07/2005
please no. he's plenty more liberal than zell miller, but he's still pretty conservative. and boring to boot. too bad, though, because i'm tired of every single president besides kennedy being a protestant christian.

MIGHT MAKE A GOOD VICE PRESIDENT,BUT HES NO PRESIDENT
abichara 02/20/2005
Nice person, electable in many ways, has good political positions that make him viable across many different groups, but seems to lack the charisma needed to seal the deal. Doesn't have that much support within the Democratic party.
irishgit 12/03/2004
Not a chance. Unelectable in primary season and doubly so in the big dance. Doubt he's interested any more.
donkeyguy 11/19/2004
A Republicrat. No Joementum building here.
jamestkirk 11/15/2004
He won't run, but he is conservative enough to win a general election.
zuchinibut 11/15/2004
Will be way too old in 2008. With the Democrats lousy showings in recent elections, I think it is time to focus on younger and more energetic candidates. Joe Lieberman definitely doesn't fit that mold.
ClassicTVFan47 11/14/2004
The other appealing democratic candidate. Realizes the Iraq War was correct, and demands decency in the entertainment industry.
texas4cash 11/12/2004
Liberal to moderate Democrat. One of the only candidates in the Democrat contest in the 2003/04 primary season I really thought could achieve a victory. I think he has broad appeal, but most Americans, especially southerners and midwesterners probably won't vote for a Jewish person. That's not racial cause I support Israel 100%, but it's truthful. Our nation is still getting used to the idea of electing minorities, and to many Jewish people fall in that group. Sad, but I think true. I like him.
