Basicly... used for engineers. Smaller (definetly) than the M1 Garand i think it would be easier to manuver with it. But.... way less powerful. Ill give it a 3

Lightweight US sholder weapon. It fired a specially designed cartridge that was more powerful than most pistol rounds but less powerful than rifle rounds. It was not that accurate, but extensively used by officers and light armed troops, such as paratroopers.

Basically designed to replace the Colt .45 (which it never really did), it was a good little weapon for second-line or admin troops. Not a lot of stopping power compared to the 30-06, but it had a respectable magazine capacity and rate of fire, so all in all it did the job. It's a niche weapon.
