I'm not in favor of too many rules (and I don't like censorship either), but I'd like to see a rule (or other preventive measure) that forbids embedding videos, 'cause they often malfunction, blocking the Recent Reviews list, and/or messing with our profile pages.

Most of the rules on RIA are pretty standard across most places on the internet that you can post on. Do we need more? I don't know. I don't see that many problems with what's already listed. If something new comes up, though, I guess it ought to be addressed.

I certainly wouldn't agree with that. Rules are good because it limits how offensive people can be and saves a lot of feelings.

As the saying goes, Integrity has no need of rules. But maybe I'm assuming too much integrity exists at RIA? The tolerant optimist in me loves people and ideas, and hates rules.

With a world full of pathological control freaks (I know, I work with several and they are annoying little cruestations), I have to ask - DO WE REALLY NEED ANY MORE RULES? I don't think so! RIA seems to be doing okay as is in that department.
