Everybody has someone that doesn't care too much for their reviews, but who really cares?

Few, if any, reviewers strike as much fear into the hearts of regulars as the dreaded "INSERT NAME,a cunning and diabolical shape- shifter with absolutely no pity or mercy..."INSERT NAME" can strike anywhere , on any weblist or comment, and produces paraylsis and horror to the helpless,petrified reviewer, who'll never be the same again. "INSERT NAME" the bane of a reviewer's real life mental health and well being..."iNSERT NAME," phantom of RIA, boogeyman of the weak and defenseless, ghoul that rises from the mist...In all seriousness, it's just a site to talk about your interests,hobbies, attitudes, opinions... everyone has people who don't like them, here and in real life-it comes with the territory....

Most of the flaming on here is tongue-in-cheek anyway. It's mock rivalries (IJR and Numbah, for example) which keeps a site like this healthy.

We must not let one or two sourpusses get in our way of what we've come here to do.

I understand not dealing with that particular person on RIA, but why abandon the whole site over something stupid, especially since it's just over a computer.

Sorry, but I don't value the opinions of nor care about the insults of a middle-aged moron who sits at the computer all day with his pants down around his ankles. Not much of a reason to depart the site, especially considering that most of the so-called RIA bullies have left the site.

If this is so, then it will teach you to get a thicker skin! But I can see why this would make people want to leave, especially if someone has swore at you or made illegal threats to you.

Although the place is definetely more of a pissing contest than in the past, you have to remember that in dealing with the public- you have to deal with anger and frustration. But that's no real reason to leave. . .although I wish people would stop naming others in their posts and take their personal baggage elsewhere.

My advice would be to grow a thicker skin. Give your ideas, defend your opinions, adjust if circumstances warrant and move on. And leave the sniping and whining at the playground.

I couldn't care less what some faceless person on the internet says to me. Most of the people who insist on constently flaming one particular person in a forum like this do it because they know it bothers that person. I'm also willing to bet those same people are to cowardly to say anything to a person's face.

Then don't pay attention to that viewer. Just because a viewer is mean to you doesn't mean that he/she is better than you. They're just being fools to themselves.

I've had a few people get down right nasty with me but this is no reason to leave I guess. It just shows their character or lack there of.
