I bought several of the magic silk knit briefs but they are really just bikini undies, especially because they can wedge up on you like women's panties. So yes, I do agree that they can be emasculating but the right girl will find them sexy. Be careful where you wear them however; my shorts got ripped off during a company outing (we were doing an obstacle course)and I was wearing the golden cheetah undies much to the amusement of all the women that I work with. I still get comments from them (some still think I was wearing woman's panites) as they have not let me live it down!

These may be comfy and feel wonderful against your nether skin, but I would never buy anything called "Magic Silk". Too emasculating and fey.
