Friedrich makes excellent air conditioners. The MoneySaver feature reduces energy costs by turning off the fan when the compressor goes off. The variable speed setting, called Smart Fan, automatically adjusts the fan speed to maintain the desired temperature. Not only this there are other features also which makes this air conditioner worth an investment. Very durable air conditioners by Friedrich.

Friedrich has been around forever. You can call their offices in Texas and speak to an actual person. You'll pay more because these units are heavier and more durable than the cheap stuff. I decided I did not want to hassle with buying a new air conditioner every couple of years. I have enough to do. I just want an air conditioner that cools a room quickly, is super quiet and works when I need it to. Friedrich is definately a workhorse!
