What a refreshing alternative to some of the egos in pro sports today. Given he isn't/wasn't a flashy scorer or one of those graceful athletes who make everything look easy, he understood and played the game well, and made his team better by his defense, rebounding, and slowing down oposing centers. I say Todd MacCulloch ROCKS!

 | ellajedlicka21 (5) 11/30/2002 | He is the stereotypical large, supermale, uncoordinated white giant in the NBA; fitting into the same category as George Murheasan and Chris Dudley. Although not a horrific player, he is solid on the boards, but he definitely is a non-existant offensive threat and certainly cannot make a significant contribution to a team's winning efforts.

 | BigBadTA (0) 11/30/2002 | not the biggest, not the fastest, not the best rebounder, not the best shooter, and not the best defender. But MacCulloch does the most with what he has, always plays hard, and does what it takes to win, and you have to respect that in a player.

 | magellan (153) 11/29/2002 | The original "T-Mac", Todd is not going to overwhelm you with athleticism. What he is going to do is catch the ball and put it in the basket. His large, soft, Canadian hands are able to catch the passes that Dikembe's could not, making him a solid low post option on a team that is suddenly stacked. While he is not the defensive presence that Dikembe was, he is anywhere from 12-18 years younger than Deke (depending on Mutombo's actual age). If you combine Big Mac's strengths with those of Sixer back-up center Samuel Dalembert, you have the ultimate weapon.

 | sperryc (29) 11/28/2002 | Of all the Canadian big men in the NBA, Todd MacCulloch (you might know him simply as "Big Mac" or "Big Mac Attack") is among the most feared. He has feathery soft hands but still manages to bang with the biggest of the big boys deep in the paint. 2nd chance shots? Big Mac's all over that. Deceptively slow foot-speed and a lumbering yet somehow effective baby hook? Now you're speaking the Mack Attack's language. Todd Mack and Keith Van Horn are excellent additions to an already excellent Philadelphia team this season. Todd "just give me the ball" MacCulloch could very well be the beginning of a very looooong 76er dynasty.
