All of our interactions with the staff of Brilliant Earth have been excellent! I ordered the engagement ring and wedding ring from Brilliant Earth, and they are both of superior quality and beauty. And the whole conflict-free diamond thing doesn't hurt. While I don't plan on buying any more engagement and wedding rings from Brilliant Earth, I would certainly go back for any other jewelry needs, and would encourage any ring-hunting men out there to try it out. Prices are much more reasonable than Tiffany's, and the quality is so much better than plenty of chain jewelry stores out there.

I could not be happier with the incredibly beautiful engagement ring my fiance purchased at Brilliant Earth - it's gorgeous!! After spending much time ring shopping/browsing at Tiffany, DeBeers and other diamond retailers, we were actually left feeling quite uncomfortable with the concept of purchasing something that is supposed to signify such an important connection between two people, yet we didn't even feel comfortable with the sales people who were helping us - and most importantly, they had no real proof that the diamonds were ethically mined other than a photocopied piece of paper that one of their employees typed up (personally, I can't handle the thought of wearing a piece of jewelry knowing there might even be a slight chance that a human being has suffered in some way for me to have this ring on my finger). After some research, I came across Brilliant Earth and was thrilled to see that the rings are 100% conflict free (with no question or doubt) - ethically and environmentally safe! And, working with Danielle and Brilliant Earth was such a pleasure - we felt like she was truly our partner, making sure to give us the time and attention we needed in order to make this large purchase that will be passed down through generations! We felt comfortable and incredibly pleased with the entire experience and I would recommend that anyone who is socially/ethically and environmentally conscious and is looking for a gorgeous piece of jewelry, search no further - Brilliant Earth is the place to go! When I first saw the ring, I could not help thinking it was the perfect one: emerald cut diamond in the white gold delicate antique scroll setting. Dan hadn't consulted me (which I'm glad about 'cause I love surprises) but it was exactly right for me -- proof that he knows me well. When he told me the story of the company from which he'd got it and its ethical commitments, I fell in love with the ring and him even more. I love the ring; I love what Brilliant Earth does and stands for; Danielle was wonderfully helpful, flexible and warm ... I've been recommending it to everyone I know whose considering getting married; I bet I'll be doing so for as long as I'm wearing this ring (a lifetime, then?!).

My fiance proposed to me about a month ago with a ring he borrowed from his Mom so that I could choose my own engagement ring. I wanted my fiancé to be surprised when I proposed, so I took a gamble and decided to have a ring designed from scratch for her. The only thing I knew about her preference was that she didn't want a diamond because of the ethical considerations involved.

I found Brilliant Earth online and was really impressed with how far they go to ensure that, not only their diamonds are ethically sourced, but that all their gemstones and precious metals are as environmentally and socially ethical as possible.

The entire process was incredible. They were enthusiastic about my design for the ring. They patiently helped me pick the gemstones for the fitting and went over the details with me one more time when I finally settled on the stones and the design. Before they began crafting the ring they sent me computer generated images of the ring and offered to send a wax model of the ring if I needed one. I think I was even more comfortable and stress-free buying it online from Brilliant Earth than I would have been if I'd walked into a store and seen the ring myself. Their prices were amazing for Canadian diamonds.

When the ring finally arrived (shipped overnight) it looked so beautiful that I pushed up my proposal by three months. I couldn't wait for my girlfriend to see it. My fiancé absolutely loves the ring. Everyone we show it too loves it as well. I can't express how thankful I am to Brilliant Earth (especially Danielle) for their great attitude and workmanship.

My fiance ordered my engagement ring from Brilliant Earth. I must admit that I was a bit concerned about him ordering a ring from a website without seeing it in person. When he received the email saying that it had shipped out and was expected to be delivered the next morning by 10:30 we were ecstatic. The suspense was killing me as we were sitting in the living room waiting for FedEx. Finally the FedEx guy arrived with the package, I ran to the door and signed for the package. Nicholas opened it and got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes of course. The ring was absolutely perfect. I was surprised that it was so beautiful, was much better than I had expected, I love it. Inside the package there was also a handwritten card from someone at Brilliant Earth. I thought that personal touch was wonderful for a company to include. The ring came in a wooden box which I thought was also a nice touch. I am very picky and wanted to design my own engagement ring. Upon arriving at the Brilliant Earth showroom in Union Square, I was able to see ALL of their styles as well as meet with a sales representative who worked with me helped me design the perfect ring.

Once my fiancé and I selected the diamond (a cushion diamond from Canada!) we started working the design for the setting. During the custom design process, they assisted us with various ideas as to how I could achieve the design I wanted, and they truly helped bring my vision to life. The Brilliant Earth team assisted Steven and I with each step of the process (and offered some fabulous ideas) but in the end I was able to approve each step in the design process myself.

My ring looks incredible - it has a halo of diamonds around a cushion diamond in an art deco style. I took the ring to an appraiser - and he commented on the extremely high level of quality of the jewelry work and diamond. It appraised at a far higher price than I would have expected (and MUCH higher than I paid). And I love that it's a ring that I can feel good about wearing. Their ethics paired with their fabulous service made for an absolutely wonderful experience for me and my fiancé.
