I love Nicholson and Sandler, but this one really didn't get it done for me.

This is rather disgusting and unbelievable. The sentancing scene is downright idiotic. Aren't we tired of Jack Nicholson playing Jack Nicholson?

I rarely hate movies, but this one was awful! The plot was stupid and the ending was really bad. Adam Sandler is very funny when he plays crazy people, but in this movie he played the straight man to Jack Nicholson. Adam Sandler just can't play normal!

A solid effort. Sandler and Nicholson had great on-screen chemistry which produced some funny moments. Much better than most of Sandler's films.

they picked the perfect actor Adam Sandler to be in anger management he looks just like the type to flip out.

Some things made me laugh, and more things didn't. Woody Harrelson in drag and seducing him was gross! A little too much sex jokes in the movie.

I hate it. YOu think it's funny, while it's not. It's not good funny, it is sick funny, and it kinda freaks me out and I hate the stupid movie. It can die.

an almost 4. It has humerous moments in this movie. Adam Sandler is sent to an anger management theapy, because he was accused of a bad temper. Which is silly since he was the opposite and was quite passive. he is assigned to Jack Nicholson who does everything he can to upset him. It turns out what he really needed was a assertiveness training to stand up for himself which he does learn { sorry for the spoiler} not great has a couple funny scenes.

I loved this film - until the ending which in my opinion ruined the whole thing. The relationship between Sandler and Nicholson really worked, a very good dynamic there. But then to have the whole film boiled down to the girlfriend set the whole thing up so he'll kiss her in public and they get married??!!! Very poor....

it was funny, but not as much as the media hyped it to be!

actually good for cameos & abuse of a west side story song otherwise few laughs and might make you more angry than when you came in. Adam Sandler fans will love it naturally.

It's ok, not the greatest. I guess I expected more from Jack and Adam.

Sandman needs to go back to doing wacky characters because his 'serious comedy' films really stink.

Completely agree with the other reviewers who said it was a disappointment - I could count the laughs on one hand. The end was hokey in a major way. If I could summarize this movie in one word, that word would be "frustrating". "Callmetootie" was right - this movie just makes you angry.

This film was a dissapointment. 'Callmetootie' had a great analysis so I will just add a few comments. As always, Jack is great and delivers a stellar performance and the film did provide a few laughs.... Unfortunately, that's where the praise ends. Most of the the situations seemed a bit corny and the number of cameos from Bob Knight to John McEnroe to Mayor Guilliani seemed amateurish; as if the director was hoping to make up for what the film itself lacked by cashing in on the personas of a few famous people. "Oooh look Bob Knight! Hey, he's got an anger problem and he's in the movie too! Ha ha ha!" Well, if spending 8 bucks for that is your thing....then be my guest. If your a die-hard Nicholson fan, I would say wait until its on DVD. One to avoid.

Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler team up in the new comedy Anger Management which opens up today...but I had the fortune to see a sneak preview the other day. But was it worth my time? Adam Sandler plays your average guy who is being picked on for no good reason. Others feel that he is a hyper, mad, angry person who is out of control. A judge (RIP Lynne Thigpen) sets up Sandler with a therapist Dr. Buddy (Jack Nicholson). Nicholson is this wacky guy who is ruining Sandler's life. Sandler wonders how he is doing anything but making Sandler any madder. The ending of the film is predictable for filmgoers...you'll figure it out trust me. There are many cameos in the film. Some work, most don't. Mayor Guilliai (yeah...I know) and Woody Harrellson (In drag) work best, while Heather Graham and Marisa Tomei (who is credited as a lead, but appears only shortly) come off worst. The film has a few funny moments, and the screenplay has bright spots, but Nicholson is only used to bring in the bucks, and Sandler is too old to be doing this. If you ask me, this should've stayed on the shelves. It's an average film that doesn't really need to be seen, unless you're in the mood for those 9 or 10 minor laughs. And yes, hose 9 or 10 laughs are the exact same ones from the commercials...ha ha ha. Go see Bringing Down The House again. Anger Management won't do anything but...well, get you angry. Ha ha ha.
