If I'm not mistaken, I believe you have to be pretty drunk to see Harvey.

Better than average fast food burgers.

But they are still fast food burgers, with all the downside of that breed.

Harvey's is a Canadian fast food chain. It's not all that bad....decent french fries, and you get to meet Harvey. (I made up meeting Harvey).

The burgers are great, the toppings are fresh and they prepare it to your liking, right in front of you. Good stuff!

Harvey's has the best beef patties. Sometimes the service is a bit slow due to each burger is put together in front of you for your choices of condiments, but that's usually isn't such a big deal due to their lack of customers.

My Canadian friends swear by them, but the custom made burger is cooked and then brought to the front where the toppings are held in metal bowls (on the counter). OK..but compared to In-N-Out? Not even close...

Great burgers. The servings are big and the food is good. I like the fact that you dress your own burger too. The employees there seem less slow and slackjawed than most fast food joints.

i like the flame broiled burgers and the choice of what you want on it.

for those of you who wish to avoid similar experiences, do not leave the drive-thru lane and enjoy the bliss if ignorant, fast food dinning. i thought i would save time and run in to pick up lunch while trying a new eatery:BIG MISTAKE. there is a process at harvey's that has your burger handled far too much by too many hands. 1. the grill person -ok someone has to handle 2.the bun person 3. the condiment person 4. the wrapper-they don't really wrap but place it on the wrapper for 5. the CASHIER(MONEY HANDLER!!) to grab finnished buger and wrap it up to place in the bag. i say again too many hands, too many unclean hands!

Harvey's has recently introduced new fries which leaves the potato skin on for the most part which means I will no longer be ordering fries with my burger. This recent trend towards leaving the skin on the potato just because New York Fries does it is getting too stupid for words; it only appears to benefit people that are too lazy to peel potatos. If you really want to eat something that tastes like dirt, be my guest but do not expect me to do likewise. I'll stick to the meat from now on when I go there.

I don't know what it's like down in the states but in Canada Harvey's is pretty good. The burgers have substance, not juts patty shaped goo like McD's. The fries are still okay but they used to have the fresh cut, Swiss Chalet style fries and they'd give you a huge bucket full, not the eight french fries McD's tries to dress up in those eternally stupid fry containers.

Love the one in Burbank. Excellent, delicious, mouth-watering hamburgers.

This place makes the best fasy food hamburger ever. Plus you get to dress it right before your eyes. Hot Peppers mmmmmm...... If you have not had one yet you don't know what you are missing.
