I really loved reading "City Dharma". A lot of the information in it are things I already know but it is written in such a way that it's very accessible. I found myself being inspired all over again. I've passed this book on to many of my friends.

City Dharma was truly helpful and insightful. I spend almost every minute of every day, or so it seems, stressed about something, or stressed that I can't think of anything to be stressed about. Each chapter relates to a concern of mine, and the author makes me feel that I am normal for my feelings, that others have the same issues, and that there is help. This is the first book that I have read that is easy to understand and fun to read, and I actually feel that I can easily follow what the author suggests and feel better about myself, my life, and other people. Most books I read get put on the shelf after I am done, or eventually sold to a book store. City Dharma is with me forever! I carry it around and refer to it over and over again, and I get a positive boost when my mood is otherwise. I can always count on this book to pull me out of a funk. I even bought a copy for a friend with chronic stress and anxiety. If I could only get her to relax long enough to sit down and read it! I highly recommend this book.

An excellent book about how to spiritually survieve in the world of today. Written in a way that is easy for anyone to understand and apply to life. I would also like to take the time to point out that the author took the time to respond to my e-mail in a very caring and quick way that says to me he pracitces what he preaches.

This is an excellent book written by a 'normal' guy who is in touch with his spirituality! It made me realize (once again) that I need to live in the `now' and stop worrying about things that may never happen and that I need to be more alive and awake to the world around me. I also loved the quotes and Arthur's personal stories illustrating Dharma in 'real life'. In the Chapter dealing with love, one of the quotes spoke to me directly: "If it's not meant to be, there is nothing you can do to make it happen. If it's meant to be, there is nothing you can do to keep it from happening" Can't wait to read Arthur's new book "Sex, Love & Dharma"!!!
