On current, pretty abysmal form i could only give my own country 2 stars. The current official world rankings which have England top(for the first time, but quite rightly i must admit-they've been playing magnificent Rugby)and New Zealand(historically the best team in the world)2nd,are a pretty good guide to form.Australia are reigning world champions,by the way. However, results can change things quite quickly, and ratings purely by recent results would soon be outdated,so i'm grading by overall historical contribution,as i must assume the other 2 who've rated Wales are doing!.4 stars is then quite justified;we still have a winning record against all northern hemisphere nations. There was a time,in the ever more dim distant past-the 70's and my childhood/teens- when Wales were in fact dazzling to watch,a team studded with some of the most exciting stars the game has produced;Gareth Edwards(generally regarded the greatest ever player),Barry John,Gerald Davies,J.P.R.Williams,Mervyn Davies,Phil Bennett..It's only too true that we in Wales tend to wallow in past glories, and certainly Rugby is far too much of a religion here;it's pretty embarrassing to obsess about a sport you're no longer any good at.This is only the 2nd comment in this section.I know Rugby's hardly a major sport in North America, but hope this at least gives a bit of useful information on what can be a scintillating spectacle.
