Materazzi -- you are a slick man.

Getting older, with players like Zidane, Makelele, Thuram and Barthez getting up there close to retirement (some already have).

Cisse would have been a nice bit of young blood in the line-up, but he broke his leg again.

Henry, Vieira and Gallas are going to have to play some of their best futbol. Henry needs to make plays like he can at his best. Vieira needs to play at his best, because he can be down right awful sometimes. He needs to be able to anchor an aging midfield.

As for Gallas, he needs to be able to anchor the French defense with a combination of young, old and primed players.

France has a chance, but they have a number of aging stars and a number of holes. If Zidane can play the way he was able to two or three years ago, the French may be alright.

Henry is good, he is damn good, but as for this task, he might not be good enough. Hell, I don't even know if Ronaldinho could make this team good at times.

A bunch of losers, has-beens, cheaters (especially Viera, Makelele...) and most of them were not even born in France, they would be more useful in their home teams in Africa to help football improve over there

The weird thing about soccer is that a team can totally dominate a match and still get blown out. I watched France manhandle Denmark for most of the match last night, only to wind up getting shut out (again) and eliminated from the tournament. There is definitely a heavy kharma factor in soccer... some nights things just don't go your way.

Ewwwww..... France totally robbed Italy of there cup in France. The refs totally helped France towards the end of the game and becuase they got help from the refs and didnt win it themselves they deserve an Ewwwww..... mark of one star. w00t w00t!
