Rockstar is ok. I think it taste like couch medicine, which is not a good thing. Most of these energy drinks taste like that, but Rockstar is not as bad as some others. I prefer Red Bull to this.

honestly, energy drinks in general are pretty gross. i will admit, i was hooked on rockstar sugar free for a good 2 months about 3 years ago. It didnt leave that nasty taste in your mouth like redbull, and it def did give you that pep some need in the morning. BUT, rockstar original, yuck. rockstar sugar free...not bad, yet would still get a cup of coffee instead.

Poor kick, the taste is boring, get monster instead.

Good drink, tasts fine, regular kick as much as any decent energy drink. Nothing new.

Not a fan of the taste, it gives you good energy but what good is an energy drink if you don't really enjoy what you are drinking? Tastes very artificial with a weird aftertaste, Monster is much more drinkable imo.

A very generic sort of energy drink, with an unidentifiable aftertaste that rather confused me. What is it supposed to taste like? Pineapple, possibly? Or some bastardization of citrus? Either way, the flavor is incredibly artificial. And I certainly didn't "party like a rockstar" after consuming the beverage. Where's my underage groupies and suite at the Ritz-Carleton? In fact, Rockstar didn't make me feel any peppier than a bottle of Mountain Dew would. All in all a rather disappointing experience.

omg i love this stuff. it tastes so great and gives me so much happy energy :] and i didnt sugar crash later on that bad either

2nd Best Energy Drink ever. Not too sweet, not too.. mild I guess is the word I'm looking for. Just right. Full Throttle beats it but when I can't find a Full Throttle, I'm always looking for the Rockstar. Party like a rockstar.

Monster tastes like a flowery joke. Rockstar tastes like vitamins and caffeine. What do you want..a fake sugary substitute for a real vitamin blast? All of you who say Rockstar tastes bad, you have no idea of what is real.

BY FAR my favorite energy drink. I personally love every version, except the juice kinds. Those are too sweet for my liking. Some people say it's the worst tasting energy drink, but I think it's the best.  Every kind is guaranteed to get you going if you drink the whole can, especially the zero carb. The original has a somewhat fruity, sweet, and tangy taste. Very good. The Diet is the same, and the Zero carb is much more...cherry / grape flavored. Above and beyond the rest IMHO.  5 Stars!

I LOVE IT!!! IT IS AMAZING

I can't touch rockstar, it makes me so paranoid.  I'm not talking about mild caffeine jitters someone might get from a couple cups of coffee.  About a half hour after drinking it my mind starts racing and I freak out about things that aren't even going wrong.  But every once in a while I get tempted and think I'll be fine, and today after drinking one it was the same deal.  I was on the phone with people for 3 hours just asking them questions - that was the only thing I could bring myself to do was make phone calls.  No joke.  I've asked some people who drink it if it happens to them and I either get a laugh or a I have no idea what you're talking about.  Maybe it's an allergic reaction or something.

Too sweet.

This drink contains milk thistle, which is supposed to clean your liver after an all-night bender. After just a few sips of this, I felt that my insides were being cleaned out -- though not in a good way. This drink is the worst-tasting soda on the market. Strangely enough for a drink that encourages hard partying, it was developed by the conservative activist Russ Weiner (son of Michael Savage), a blatant example of how opportunism can trump ideology.

not my favorit by far, but has a great taste, and boosts me for whatever. o and i got into it because of the name lol

So, I have been drinking Rockstar for over 5 years now, off and on. Here is the thing - this is a solid drink, and the various flavors offer good variety - you can get it anywhere, and it is always rockstar. The new Zero Carb is one of the better "diet" energy drinks on the market. Something great to fall back on. Guava? Too sweet, but good as a mixer. I can't drink the original anymore, because it is too musky/thick, but when it came out - it literally changed the category. Too bad the cola didn't go anywhere, it was pretty good, but disappeared.

Rockstar tastes like crap

Rockstar recently reduced its most expensive ingredient, Guarana Seed Extract, from 400 mg to 50 mg per 16 oz can. Now, it's basically just flavored caffeine with insignificant amounts of a few exotic ingredients. The Rockstar packaging looks the same, but the effect of drinking the beverage is completely different. Guarana Seed Extract has radically different xanthine alkaloids from cola or coffee, and is naturally suspended in polyphenols that slow solubility, thereby enabling a sustained effect instead of the rush and letdown of caffeine.

tastes like someone jizzed in a can then took a big diarrea in there then somone else raped him and made him jizz in there again.. then another hobo walk along the had a gonnera discharge in there... YUMM.. u guys are all sick

My favorite energy drink of the kinds I've tried. The taste isn't fantastic (tastes like a combo of apple juice, bubble gum, and beer) but not bad, and the flavor is strong enough that the taste alone can kind of serve to wake you up. The taste aside, I've found this to be the most effective energy drink in that one serving keeps me awake for a long time, and doesn't have a bad crash when it wears off. Most important, it can really wake me up - for me, one serving can turn a falling-asleep-at-my-desk day into a wide-awake, super-productive day in a matter of minutes.

Great drink. Should be farther up the list. It is one of the most powerful drinks you can get... I actually read on a health website that it's so strong you shouldn't drink a whole 16 oz. can at once. That's gotta' tell you something.

This is without a doubt the best energy drink out there and i recomend it to everyone.

This is a predictable attempt tp copy the original drink which created this market (Red Bull). Good try ......but just another pretender.

Tastes great, & tons of natural ingredients to get me through my day. Rockstar is my favorite energy drink by far.

Everybody here in CA is drinking this. It is OK, but I have tasted better.The name is the draw, along with the huge, 16 oz and 24 oz cans.

I love the diet! No sugar, tastes good, and has a ton of good for you herbs in it. and ginko for memory. I drink it daily.

I am a student right now and play water polo rockstar is higly the most effective energy drink for swimmers, should always be drunk 30 minutes ahead of time because it wont give you the energy you need till later.

16 ounce can is all you need.Taste great and gives a nice feeling and energy too
