Graduated in 02 from Baruch and thought the overall education was great. The price cannot be beat. The downside is that there is no social life/campus atmosphere whatsoever. Most people have jobs and many other things on their plate while attending this school so don't expect to live out your Fratboy fantasies here. I now have a great job with colleagues who have student loans from big name schools approaching 100k. I graduated from college only owing 3k on my credit card which I paid off after 3 months of getting my first post college job. You will have to live with the label of going with a CUNY when working with School Snob colleagues.....but hey, they have the same job and pay while I have no loans. Who is the idiot now?

For money hungry spoiled brats and well heeled immigrant children who want to "make it" in NY. Overrated faculty, lack of any notable humanties concentration. Most here could not get into a better school thus settle for second best. Brooklyn College is miles ahead in faculty, a "complete" real education which prepares you for the globalised world not just lectures in money making. If you want to land in a faceless robot world of accounting or finance go to Baruch. If you want something more out of life Brooklyn College has it.

I could have not gone to a better place that Baruch. Baruch offers a lifetime experience in a grand city like NEW YORK. Thanks to baruch Iam going to a Ivy League law school. Baruch roks. Those that talk bad about it is because they don't do there work and slack off and then blame it on the school.BARUCH RULES!!!!!I Reccomend it to anyone who wants a good eduaction and have fun.

It does its job, which is preparing empty-headed greed slave wannabes to be empty-headed drones in business.
