I haven't yet met a woman who wouldn't take my money...

For me the money is not a gift, is needed to buy one, but it isn't a gift. I hate that someone gives me money as a gift, it's so easy to buy something or to give something thinking in the person. For me, if someone gives me money, it's because this person doesn't really mind what to give me (so I'm not so important for him/her) and this person is only making a gift because has to do it, not because really wants to do it.

A bit unpersonal, and seems something one may expect in a sexual transaction or a night out at Ye Olde Rusty Strip Pole Emporium and Wings Bar.

Money is the only things chicks want. Thats why we men have fancy cars and big houses, not because we want them but because women want them.

For a close sweetheart, it's a thoughtless gift. That message says "Thanks for being my prostitute, now here's your Christmas bonus."

Mmmmm...unless we're good friends or we're dating, money is great! I will definitely use it somewehere, even if it is the gas station. Plus, I'm guarded against you being cheap, because you're telling me the exact amount you feel our relationship is worth in the gift. Money, money, anyday.

Money as a gift for a grown woman? I couldn't imagine this being anything but an insult to most ladies.

For the most part money is nice to give and receive. However it depends on the person. I personally love getting money. I enjoy the thought if getting to go on a shopping spree. I do know that there are some people who get offended by money and certificates. They look upon it as "being too lazy to think about a gift for them" As for me if I cannot think of what to get someone I would rather give them money or a gift certificate so they can choose.

I love getting money. As said by Homer Simpson's brain once on The Simpsons, money can be exchanged for goods and services.

I think this would really depend on who is giving it. Though most people don’t mind having some extra cash on hand, it isn’t exactly the most personal gift. Yet, like gift certificates it could just be someone’s last ditch effort to get you something when they just can’t think of anything specific. And unlike gift certificates and American Express cash is accepted everywhere.
