I never loved expensive gifts. I don't need a jewel from the one I love or from anyone else, and I don't use to wear jewels. I think that is possible to make some more personal gifts that will show so much love than a jewel, that only shows how much the other person can spend.

For the most part it's probably a great idea, but some women either have more jewelry than one person needs or they simply do not wear any. I like jewelry (as long as it's silver), but I dislike people buying it for me. No one can ever get my sizes right for rings, bracelets, or anklets (I tend to be FAR smaller than the average sizes). I have since banned people from buying me anything other than necklaces or earrings because of that fact. So, until they ask me my size, I'll keep buying those few pieces for myself.

Most ladies like jewelry, but there are some, like my Mom,who just don't wear any.You have to know her taste, too. Some girls prefer silver, while others like gold.It can be a nice, romantic gift for your sweetheart.

When we're dating, the jewelry is great. When we break up, I don't wear it anymore. I've got this nice collection that serves no use sitting in the jewelry box.

For women, yes this is a great gift.

I view Jewelry as a great gift no matter if it’s from a man to a woman or the other way around. I gave my now husband some of the first jewelry he’d ever owned. Why? Because to me, it means a lot when someone takes the time to choose a piece of jewelry for another person. The piece doesn’t have to be the most expensive piece in the store either, just one that looks nice.

Expensive jewelry means as much as the person who gave it to you, and nothing more. It's nice that jewelry tends to last a long while, but it's really got to be MEANINGFUL; try a personal engraving on it or something, and that to me would mean more than the jewelry itself.

You'll definitely get good with a woman by giving a nice necklace, ring, or bracelet.

Jewelry is a great gift for a woman (from a boyfriend or husband). Especially for a woman who is very feminine and likes to dress nicely. I want some for my Birthday and Christmas. :)

It never fails. Every year, some of my relatives buy me jewelry even though they know I hate it and never wear it.

A classic but it’s still a very classy one! There’s never a shortage of wonderful selections and designs. I would venture to say that something exists for everyone’s taste – from antique jewelry to ultra-modern designs. Very nice choice for most any occasion I’d say.
