about a 2.5. It would be nice if the gift giver knew for sure the woman loves sports or a certain kind of sport. like a tennis racket, or golf clubs. However if they did not like sports i would wonder just who they were really this sport item for?

It depends on what a woman likes. I personally like sports, but I know some people don't.

Personally, there is no possible way I have ever or will I ever want anything remotely associated with sports. I'm sure there are women who would completely disagree and would love receiving a set of golf clubs or whatever. I know once my father gave my mother a bowling ball and bag for Christmas back in the late 50’s or early 60’s so she would join a bowling league with him. I think she found it really depressing. He might have just as well given her a giant paperweight!
