Given how voraciously I read, and how eclectic my tastes, this is always a welcome gift.

Probably not the ideal gift for every guy though.

Not only worthwhile, it serves as an idiot-proof gift that helps those helpless relatives who can't ever buy the right gift. . .lucky for me, the wife sends out the book list on my behalf. . .

Not for me dudes, if the story was any good, it would be a movie.

Probably my favourite present. I had another good haul this year, about 8 books from different people, but mainly my wife, varying from a book of bread recipes, through a pictorial history of Minnesota farmsteads and on to 'Japanese for Dummies' - all non-fiction this time around.

I love books! My goal is to have a 10,000 book collection by the time I pass away. If you can't think of something to get me a book will always be fine.

Cannot go wrong. Not all that expensive so whether it's a hit or a miss, the thought can really trump all.

I think a book is always a good gift for anybody. I know were living in this high tech computer age but I still love to read a good book. A book allows one the freedom to use their imagination or to gain knowledge. Books are very important.
