Money is the perfect gift for me.  If I want something, I go buy it.  Money, unlike other gifts, earns interest in my bank account, thus allowing me to buy something I know I'll like.  I dislike getting gifts because they end up clogging my house.  I can't get myself to sell them since somebody clearly put thought into buying them for me.

Say what you want about it being impersonal or whatever, but I'm never disappointed when I get cash as a present.

Good if you don't specfically know what the guy wants. I'd much prefer money than a gift I have no use for. That way I can go out and buy what I want.

You can't go wrong with money most every one can always use it. It is impersonal and lacks thought but who would be best at buying a gift for you, you!

What's good about getting money as a gift? You can always exchange it for something you like better! From a busy relative, money is a perfectly acceptable gift for most men. However, a romantic partner may want to consider something that suggests some care and thought. Gifts needn't be expensive, just truly from the heart.

It's the gift that keeps on giving. Money is not a very symbolic gift, but when you can't decide what to get someone, then money is always there to bail you out.

I think this is also good, because if you have a hard time thinking of what to get for that special guy, they could buy it for themselves with money as a gift.

This is a guy we are talking about right? Money for a woman is the worst gift because it has no thought involved in it. I hate getting or giving money for Christmas. It's almost like saying you don't care enough or didn't want to take the time to find them something they might really enjoy. The only way I ever give cash on Christmas is if I can't find what they specifically ask for and they suggest that if I give them money they will go find it. Even then I don't like it, but at least they know up front what they are getting.

It is sort of the lazy person's gift. If you have no idea what a person wants and put absolutely no effort forth to acquire that information, give them the currency. Still a great gift, though.
