My favorite!! Again its actually American style chinese food here in the states.

I love it!! General Jos chicken, chicken fried rice, sweet/sour pork....gotta love it!! Its also important to eat at a place that uses no msg.

I did the food test once but it was while ria was having trouble so my answers got deleted!

I love most Chinese food. I prefer a buffet so I can take a little of everything instead of having to make a choice.

There are a lot of varieties of Chinese, some excellent, particularly Szechwan in my opinion.

Bad Chinese food, however, is simply disgusting.

Not one of my favorites. But it is good from time to time. And I also have to be careful of some of the ingredients that some Chinese dishes have.

I love Chinese but I never venture to a Chinese joint. If I want Chinese cuisine, I prepare it myself from fresh ingredients and real chicken [with no gristle and fat and real pork and beef.]

I don't enjoy eating dog and rat. Nor do I enjoy eating at establishments that have some of the worst health scrores in the restaurant industry [in the USA], unless you eat at a premium restaurant...and by premium I am talking 50.00 per entree, not Panda Express.

Besides, I can cook circles around any moderate Chinese joint with rats inthe kitchen and I know where the food came from and what it really is.

I have never eaten in China but it would be a worthwhile experience and I'm sure it is 1000% better than the stuff they pander as Chinese in the USA!

When you travel to China, some of the dishes seem to have more grease in them. . .I've met travellers who swear by Chinese, but it was a mixed bag for me. . .

good until you walk into their back room and see the dogs packed in little cages, then you realize that you're eating dog meat.

Chinese food can be delicious. They really know how to make veggies!I favor the spicier Hunan dishes. There's a big variation in quality from one restaraunt to another, though. At a good "buffet" type place, you can see what looks nice and sample it first.

I like Chinese soups such as Won Ton and egg flower soup. I enjoy the buffets where you can just help yourself to whatever looks good. For real authenticity find a place that serves Dim Sum.

in terms of the fattening slop we get in Take-out joints, i guess i like General Tsao's. they say it's spicy but it isn't. the rest of it i can give or take, everything just ends up tasting like fish.

I live in Taiwan, with food from all of China's regions available due to mass immigration of people from all regions of China. You can get anything from Peking Duck to Cantonese dim sum. Some of my favorites are steamed pork and vegetable dumplings, bbq pork buns, fried dumplings filled with meat, onion pancakes, kung pao chicken(the real version), Sweet and sour fish, ginger beef, egg fried rice and many others. It's nothing like the typical Americanized Chinese food you get at a buffet. Most food isn't deep fried but stir fried and they don't use all the thick heavy, sweet sauces, overall its much healthier and tastier. For authentic Chinese food outside China the Chinatown is probably one of the few places you can find it.

Love that Chinese Food. Whether in the shi-shi confines of P. F. Changs or some beat-down chinese buffet in the ghetto, it rarely disappoints my taste buds. My favorites are Won Ton Soup (By the gallon), Egg Rolls, Shrimp Toast, Pork Fried Rice, Shrimp and Lobster Sauce, Chinese-style barbequed spare ribs, and Peking Duck. While most chinese restaurants are family owned, seek out any Chinatown in a big city and you can't go wrong. I found Philadelphia's Chinatown to be one of the best. Oakland had a good one. San Francisco, of course, has a good one; but some restaurants have weird variations of common dishes. San Diego does not have a Chinatown, but they have a real good chain called China Camp. Believe it or not, some of the best Chinese food I ever had was in Italy and Bahrain. The Worst -- Hong Kong (too bland and too many unidentified frying objects. One of the funniest things I ever heard on TV was on the great Sanford and Son where Fred complained to a waiter at a chinese restaurant, I don't like Chinese food. An hour after you eat it, you're hungry again. Of which the Oriental Waiter replied, Then just eat for another hour, sir.

For vegetarians, this is the way to go. Chinese joints usually have a nice selection of vegetable platters. Fortunately for me, the only Chinese place I go to is MSG-free and serves very filling meals.

Chinese food is another cuisine of my liking. One of the things that is good about it is that it is very healthy. My favorite dish is Fried-Shrimp Rice, Chicken Fingers, Dough Balls, with Lobser Sauce spread on the top. It does get old fast and a lot of Chinese food I don't like. Otherwise, Chinese food is awesome.

REAL Chinese food is awesome--try going to dim sum in a Chinatown, it's a great experience. Food may be a bit on the only side for some. Stir-frying is a very healthy way of cooking, and leaves vegetables still crisp yet fully cooked. A great choice if you find a good, reputable restaurant.

Never been a fan of this mess. That yellow fried rice ain't too bad, but other than that there's really no reason to stomach this stuff.

a love-hate relationship for me. I guess I'd like it more if I had the chance to experience true Chinese food. not the fast-food Chinese places that are everywhere in my city. Seems they just interchange 3 kinds of glumpy sauce depending on what you order.

i try to go out to eat chinese food at LEAST once a month. i stuff myself real good, too & try and make it last til next time. some of the stuff i enjoy may not be just the healthiest, but generally when i go out to eat, i'm not too worried about getting the healthiest item on the menu, rather i want to try and find the tastiest. i won't tell which dish that is, though, since there's about 20 of 'em!! i love the stuff.

When I don't know exactly what I want to eat, Chinese food always hits the spot. I recently bought a wok to use at home so I'm going to be eating a lot more of it.

here's my deal: i've been a vegetarian for about 10 years now, and there aren't many types of cuisine that cater to vegetarians while still providing much nutritional value. yes, chinese food can be inclusive of some of the most fat-laden, high carb food out there. but i've never gone into a chinese restaurant and wondered what i can find that's meatless but still has some substance to it. besides that, if you've ever had REAL chinese food-- like what chinese food actually is-- it's absolutely incredible.

Very good for you! Lots of reasonably priced veggies, tofu, fresh fish, fresh noodles, and the dim sum places in San Francisco's Chinatown where I can get a serving of juk (congee, porridge) for less than a buck. And so many restaurants, so little time!

Chinese food is really good and I love the texture of the "egg rolls" they are very good and they leave a good hyper taste in your mouth. I also like the "general tsu's" chicken! It's nice and spicy and it has alotta taste and it tickles my tounge. I love it. I also like reman noodles and they ae cheap and easy to make. I buy 20 or more packs of ramen and I love it. that is my favortite chinese food. also I like sushi! It has a unique taste to it and It can be dangerous since some areas of the sea have oil and the fish could have diseases so you gotta bew careful with sushi, it can be good if you get a good fishy-wishy!

Good stuff, but beware of some restaurants that slip in the ol' MSG. Kinda like sex---an hour later you're hungry for more. Crude, but fitting. I like using chopsticks, especially when I try my darndest to pick up kernels of rice.

mmmmm! I love to get Chinese take-out on the weekend. Most Chinese restaurants have delicious vegetarian dishes, although there could be more. I love vegetarian chow mein with lots of salty, tasty soy sauce, and mushroom chop suey over rice, and meatless egg-rolls dipped in plum sauce.Deep fried tofu with black bean sauce is my favourite special treat. When I'm not too hungry, it's also fun to use chopsticks - if I'm ravenous I use a fork.

Chinese food in NY's China Town is awesome and I give that 5 stars; also Chinese food in Holland is awesome (the famous "rice table"), but everywhere else this is nothing more than FRIED FAT glazed over by some obscure RED GLUCOSE SAUCE. Poor quality meats, with poor quality sauces, served over poor quality rice. Yummie.

Not my favorite by any means. I enjoy spicy food, so their mustard is my a great topping to anything. I also enjoy the general chu's chicken as well as BBQ spare ribs. I can't stand any other type of Chinese food, though.

One of a few good things that China has provided us with. I love Chinese food. Rice (rice, and more rice), lemon pepper shrimp, mu shu pork and chicken, general chu's chicken all showered in soy sauce...well, how could you not love it? I have this tendency to overeat when I have Chinese. Here's fifty bucks that says other people have this habit too. Take care, everyone!

I don’t know too many people who turn their noses up at this great stuff. It tends to be very starchy and full of fat and my love for it no doubt partially accounts for the high cholesterol levels on my last physical exam. Even so, I still love it and will probably never totally give it up. I think this is a type of cooking you need to have done by the masters and not really try to duplicate at home. I know I’ve tried several times and though it tastes good, just is not the same.
