I have a been a client of Higgins Insurance for at least five years. Recently I changed my auto policy to State Farm, and my State Farm agent apparently transposed my new home address numbers, so the cancellation fax they sent to Higgins had the wrong street address for my refund check. I called wondering about my refund and the check had been previously sent to the wrong address. I researched and no such address exists on my street. I have not received a check and Higgins has not received it back. The likelyhood of this check being cashed is extremely low, I assured Mr. Higgins that if it came to me after they re-issued my check that I of course would send the duplicate check back. No go. I must wait 6 months for them to issue a new check.

This, after paying on time for 5 plus years and never making a claim.

Nice, Mr. Higgins, nice. I own my own business, never treat my clients like this, however. Business is good for me, but Higgins Insurance Agency obviously will get no more recommendations from me.
