i have been skatin for a bout 4 years and i like watchin rodney do his flips, and i like watchin' geoff rowley go for some big ass gaps and they pretty much ,well to me, they have been a big deal to me i watch them skate and i think i could be like them and i think how bad ass it would be to be as good as them, i probably wont make it but if i do i will be thankin them. i probably wont be even makin it am pro and i do know what a semi flip looks like and what it is, and im not fat,and i know what habitat is. all im trying to say is they will be in skatin history and in every one who skate memories forever. skateboarding somehow faded away and it can be brought back up but not if ppl like that popwar guy keeps sayin that. popwar sucks anyway he was probably thinkin oh this is something a poser would not know. they will think im bad ass at skatin and know what it is, for the ppl who dont know what popwar is, it is the skateboard you see on a rack in a skate shop that ppl dont buy except for this guy up here or he could be under me i dont know. ppl like that are the real posers they dont know what skatings all about.

Rodney is the best. Thats all there is to it. Think of a street trick any street trick at all now look at its origins. 99% of trick originated from a trick that was created by Rodney. Without Rodney there would be no street skating. Its true too if you think about it. How many street tricks use the ollie in some way? The answer is simple. All of them. Before i even knew rodney mullen even lived i was thinking bucky lasek was the bomb but when i saw his vid on thps4 i was intorduced to a new world of skating i have been skating for like 1 year and all of my skating has been inspired by him im not fully obsessed with him but i just think he is a very humble skater who deserves everyones appluase because its taken him 25 years to get this good and he certainly has done that.....peace-out

Rodney Mullen is God, he invented one of the most unthought about moves around "The Darkslide" and he is known as the ONLY pro skater that can even pull this trick off, and alost his freestyle tricks are godly....and the only reason he can't skate pipes is because hes a street skater not vert (sk8p0rtland you dumb ***).

can anybody think of a person that invented over 50 sk8ting triks? i can. and u guessed it, mullen. he inspired me to skate. before i ever did sk8, i've heard of him. i didnt really think he could be that good. then i watched his video in THPS 4, and lemme say that i saw some thing i never though was humanly possible. i got my @$$ out there and tried to learn a couple! thanks to him, i can do a manuel, primo, primoflip, kickflip, heelflip, and truckstand.

At one time my favorite skater was Chad Muska and I was thinking about trying skateboarding for one year. This all changed when I rented Tony Hawk's Proskater 3. I learned a cheat that unlocked all the pro videos(popcorn for Gamecube). I was somewhat bored and decided to watch them all. Then Rodney's video came on. I practically threw up in disbelief. His video took my hobby of skateboarding and turned it into a dream. Before that day I couldn't even drop-in. Since then, Every time I watch his video I get inspired and go outside and try to do a new move. I have learned to truckstand, anti-casper, and manual.
