 | Theoden (3) 02/06/2006 | Don't think for a moment that NPR news is unbiased. These guys have a way of tracing every negative story on the planet back to the conservatives in the US. And they are very good at it. Sickening that tax money goes into this operation.

 | daedalus (33) 12/09/2005 | Was 5 stars until Edwards was unceremoniously dismissed. Inskeep is average and Kasell, well, you know how sometimes they say "you have a face for radio" well Kasell "has a voice for puppeteer work." There seems to be something perpetually stuck in his throat. The news is unbiased and thorough.

 | Randy Campbell (0) 09/30/2004 | Miss Bob Edwards, but the show still serves us well as the national morning program.

 | CharlieSummers (0) 08/28/2004 | Like most of NPR's current crop of programming, ME suffers from a lack of solid, long-form reportage, instead looking for th eshort-attention-span crowd. The money I usually give to various NPR member stations around the country is going this year to XM radio, where I am anxiously awaiting The Bob Edwards Show.

 | ByeByeME (0) 07/07/2004 | They really stunk up the airwaves when NPR packed Bob Edwards away. He WAS Morning Edition.
What fools.
I now listen to CDs during my commute. My annual donation to the local station is staying is my checking account this year.

 | dbsfacs (0) 07/06/2004 | I'm conservative but educated. Liked NPR because no commercials. ME stinks without Bob Edwards. The Left can never seem to let well-enough alone.

 | jtk (0) 06/25/2004 | In the aftermath of Bob Edwards' leaving, the clear rightish tilt to the slate and angle of stories makes it feel like an insipid Rush/Fox show with too-young adenoidal voices doing the bobble-headed chit-chat. Clearly, the Bush people got what they wanted here in placing the board people they named: silence from thoughtful critics. I no longer need to hear Morning Edition, as I did for several decades. It's a loss.

 | Herb Phillips (0) 05/07/2004 | With the removal of Bob Edwards from this top rated show after nearly 25 years nothing is the same. Reports are not tied together by a strong anchor personality as before. NPR is adrift with no replacement yet named. Listeners are baffled as Edwards had wanted to continue as host. This was the econd highest rated show on radio but the future is in doubt.

 | twinmom101 (31) 04/05/2003 | Consistently good and balanced reporting. Far superior to cable news outlets for quality

 | magellan (153) 02/25/2003 | I have a brutal 1-1.5 hour commute in the morning, and NPR's Morning Edition is the only thing that makes it bearable. Bob Edwards and the gang deliver the news in a measured, intelligent way, and mix in just enough random stuff to keep you listening. Beware to first time listeners: about once a week NPR can get you choked up with some pretty heavy pieces. Listen at your own risk.
