Purchased the 9400 Duet washer and dryer. The washer didn't work when it was delivered. Whirlpool sent a technician to check the washer out and then told me I had accepted a repair so I no longer qualified for a new appliance. I hadn't even used it yet!!! Gas dryer broke down within weeks and they have spent over 2 months trying to repair it. They now say they will replace it but with a lower model, it will also be electric even though I purchased gas, and it will not match the washer that I purchased at the same (in their words they do not market the units as matching). Customer service with Whirlpool is frustrating, they really seem like they do not care about the appliances once you have purchased them. It's like "buyer beware"

Whirlpool as a corporation is very disappointing. I had my Cabrio washer/dryer for less then one year, still covered by warranty when the washer broke. They sent out the guy to fix it five times and they replaced every part on the washer. They refused to replace the washer and kept on trying to fix it. I had to take my wash to the local laundromat for over two months, even having to fish out all my dirty, wet clothes from the washer on two occasions. Whirlpool, Maytag, whoever you are.... your customer service sucks! I will NEVER purchase your products again. I went to the same type of washer from GE and have been VERY happy with it and the warranty is better. Buyers beware!!!!!

Whirlpool produces very good air conditioners. In minutes the air conditioner brings down the temperature. The effect is really chilling.

I don't think they even make their own product anymore.  Who knows who designed it.

I would have to agree with some of the other Whirlpool Airconditioner owners. Whirlpool makes the Best Airconditioners in the World.The Whirlpool I have had my Room feeling like a Walk in Icebox within just a few Minutes!.The Whirlpool Airconditioners are the Coldest in the World.Buy one and experience the Chill!.

Whirlpool always been good. As far as wall unit AC units go this is the coldest longest lasting AC unit on the market.

I disagree.

Unless I just happen to get a rare odball this whirlpool a/c of mine blows the coldest air in the known universe. this thing is only 6000 BTU and it blows away the GE unit which is 10,000 BTU. You can hang meat in the room with this thing, the room is about 200 SQ feet and the unit is approx 7 years old. The price was also on the cheap end of the scale as a/c units go
