Email to Mayors an Omega
I was the happy owner of a Omega Seamaster Professional. on 26 Dec. 2006 the crown of my watch broke and I took the watch to the store that sell it to me (MAYORS / authorized dealer in the US). The watch was sent to OMEGA for repair (warranty) with instructions to repair and polish and after 3 month of waiting it was return to me on 16 March 2007. The watch was repair but not polish. I went to my house and try to set the correct time on my watch and the crown broke again (or was never fix). I went back to the store and returned. They promise to have my watch fix and polish in 30 days and after many calls I'm still waiting for my watch. This is unacceptable and a disrespect to me as a client that after almost seven month of waiting nobody can give me a straight answer when I ask how long is going to take to get my watch back. From my point of view Omega and Mayors had provide a very poor job and costumer service. I'm a veteran from the US Navy and I have the benefit of buying from the military store many other watches at very cheap prices and I choose to pay more for an Omega in Mayors for the reputation and the warranty. That was a big mistake. I'm convince that I waste my money and my time with OMEGA and MAYORS and I have better service from my $35 Timex. I read in this web site the way Omega service the watches for repairs and I really believe it is a lie based on my experience. I always dream of buying an Omega and I can give you my word that I will sell my Omega as soon as I get it and buy a real watch, not a headache. My watch has spend more time in the warranty than in my hands.
