A gorgeous actress--so very beautiful. She could've found a better and nicer and more faithful husband than Frank. She was also very talented and independent.

Oh my God, what a magnificent specimen of woman! I just finished watching Bhowani Junction ( for the third time) and I can hardly believe that such a beautiful woman could have existed. Not only was she a great screen presence, she was a hell of a character in real life. Independent and intelligent, she stood out in an era where the ideal woman was the good little housewife. There will never be another like her.

Ava Gardner is probably the most beautiful woman to grace the screen... EVER! But she wasn't only nice to look at, this girl had cojones! She illuminated the screen with her boldness and her charisma! When she married Frank Sinantra, someone asked her once why she would be attracted to a shrimp who weighed 100 pounds soak and wet to which she replied "Because 1 pound is Frank and the other 99 pounds is pure C**K!" Wasn't she awesome??
