Because this star rating system doesn't allow you to do zero stars, I had to indicate one. I agree! Worst service EVER!!! I ordered a gift for my brother and it was supposed to be delivered overnight. Well, of course nobody was home when UPS delivered this PERISHABLE item on Friday so it sat around UPS for the weekend and was delivered Monday with all the ice melted and thawed and the product was spoiled. I called them and they did absolutely nothing for me. They offered to ship something else out, which I would, of course pay for and they would pay the shipping. Un-f'ing believable!!! I'm going to dispute this charge on my credit card. I've never received such unsatisfactory customer care.

The worst service EVER!! Ordered $200 worth of Filets for my Dad. Order sat at UPS for days. The Rep told me to tell mt Dad to throw them away.. it's his Christmas present, for heavens sake! I was told they would redelived for delivery before Christmas... never showed up and now I find out its sitting on the shelf at UPS and won't go out for 2 more days... throw them out again!!! I will NEVER order from Dean and Deluca again.

I have been getting my morning coffee at Dean & Deluca Soho for years (and I used to work there when I was in school), and the service just gets worse and worse. I don't think they even bother training the employees behind the counter. I purchased 2 cups of large coffee, half pound of coffee beans, and a chocolate croissant this morning. After I paid, the girl at the register just stared at me, I had to ask for a bag. She then THREW the coffee beans and the croissant in a bag. I then asked if she can give me flat lids so I can put the 2 cups of coffee in the bag, she told me they were out. I then asked her how was I supposed to carry 2 cups of hot coffee, the bag and my own big bags for 2 blocks? She continued to stare at me, offering no help no suggestions. By the time I got to my office, I had hot coffee spilt all over my coat, I had to wait for people to open the door for me because both my hands were full. I am going to Balthazar on Spring street from now on, morning coffee should not be a project.

Dean and Deluca gave 20 people food poisoning in Charlotte NC last March and denied all responsiblity, If you want a good belly ache, diahrea and vomiting this is the place for you and your friends.

Interesting recipes but arranged alphabetically rather than by group which makes searching tedious.Very upscale and expensive-but I expected that.They did not have listed what I was looking for which was odd because I had seen it in an ad.
