I was devestated when Daryn left CNN. She was one of the highlights of the time I had available to watch TV. She was a local girl to California and we on the west coast got an amazing "wake up" program from Daryn. We miss her terribly.

Don't watch her at all, she seems too whiney to me, I remember during the beltway sniper coverage when she was accidentally caught whining that Anderson Cooper had asked "her" questions--like she wasn't smart enough to have anything else to ask! From then on, I have turned her off, she is OK looking but has an ugly mouth, when I have watched her have always been too facinated by that huge mouth of hers instead of what is coming out of it, so figured it was time to change channels LOL

Ms. Kagan is one of the better pros out there in cable news, and there aren't many better out there, in fact. SHe is one of the good folks at CNN that were held over when the idiots at AO-Hell bought the company, went in, and got rid of a lot of the best people - managing to mess up most of the network. A professional, reserved, and a class act. I notice that the only people ripping her are either going after her looks (Hey, she isn't bad for 41 or so. Perhaps some reviewers are spoiled by all the 40+ anchors with obvious and drastic facelift work - At least one big time NBC Morning show star who happens to be both mega promoted and a maga jerk to her co-workers couldn't change her facial expressions in a hurricane.) Or ripping on her dating habits. On profesionalism, where it counts, is where she scores highest. She has a lot of respect and dedication to the business, and makes her job more about that than about getting herself put over other people. Not much more you can say, really.

Daryn is a very solid journalist. For those of you who don't know, she is a marathon runner. That's why she is very thin and muscular. Daryn likes doing news, but her true passion is sports. She's every bit as good as Brian Williams, Tom Brokaw's successor.

She's a Stanford grad, swimmer and runner, smart, witty, and sexy with excellent communication skills and delivery. A true class act.

she has a somewhat refreshing lightness about the way she delivers the news, but that lightness carries over into what amounts to a fairly unprofessional look that i can't take seriously. also, there's something about her teeth.

There is no ZERO rating, which is too bad. It would better fit this no-talent who is continually rolled out by CNN as one of the babes of journalism. One of the reviewers got it right some time ago; she shouldn't be rated on her babedom, and she (like many others on television) are not journalists, but pleasant looking people who are good at reading the news.

I saw her doing an interview today. CNN kept doing closeups of her legs, focusing on them more than the interview. It's shameful that a network like CNN that claims to be doing news would keep focusing more on her legs than the person she was interviewing. In very poor taste.
