My problem isn't mainly sweat, it's odor. All other deodorants I've tried work for the first few weeks, then quit on me. Certain Dri is the only one that keeps odor away all day long.
I just wish it came in a solid stick form instead of a wet roll-on because I hate having to wait for it to dry. It also stings and itches sometimes.

Certain Dri is the most AMAZING PRODUCT EVER ON THE MARKET!!!!! I know what you're thinking if you're looking this far for a stronger antiperspirant...this won't work. the clinical strength stuff doesn't, why should this? Well, I've got news for you: IT DOES WORK! I'm a freshman in high school. For three years I've suffered from horrible sweat stains under my arms. I'd keep my arms down and kinda just shut myself off from my friends outside of school. I never told my parents cuz the first time i mentioned it they laughed at me and told me i was lying. well, i wasn't. one day, my sister took me to walmart and i got that secret clinical strength stuff. well, it just made me sweat more and i paid eight bucks for that crap! i was so frustrated! but then she brought me back to by certain dri. i only paid four bucks for it and now i can go an entire day without sweating at all! i love having this freedom! just try it. believe me...it works. what do you have to lose?

today is my 2nd day trying it and so far i still have hope. On the first day I barely sweated! And I kinda made up this test. In my right armpit I did 7 strokes and in my left i did 5. Of course my right burned a little but it was like you had a heating pad on low in your underarm! It wasnt unbareable. My left didn't burn at all! When I went to school the right didn't sweated a little but the left sweated a bit more so it also depends on how baddly you don't want to sweat. The more it burns the drier you are. And I also probably sweated because it was my first day and remember. If you get certain dri, also spend a few bucks and get the a.m. one too.
And I use the stick because it works better and has more of the aluminum thing 20% but the roll on has only 12% In all it depends how much you need it. I rated it a 4 because i started yesterday and i still have high expectations

I used to sweat alot! Even though my Fiance told me that he didn't mind that I sweat excessively, it still mad me uncomfortable and self concious. Certain-Dri changed my life. i'm not afraid to wear light colored clothes, and i have strayed away from the black. I am not afraid to raise my hand in my College classes now, because i am dry.

i'm 14 years about to go to high school and i was just wondering how do u use certain dri i don't have a sweating problem but i do occasionally sweat for no reason, do i use right before i go to bed or couple minutes before i go to bed and do i just use a normal deodarant or a deodarant/anti perpirant. i've been using for 2 weeks and i doesn't stop me from completely sweating but i think i'm doing something wrong or maybe i'm not applying it to the righ section of the armpit.

I've been using Certian-Dri for months now. It works great, but it doesn't completely stop me from sweating. I've been wearing lots of new shirts now without worrying as much as I use to. I recommend you try this product, so you can gain back your confidence!

I absolutely love this product...so far. I have been disappointed in the past with excessive armpit sweating. This has been a problem for almost 15 years.I could never wear a button down collar shirt because my wet pit stains would show right through and last all day. As a woman, that is super embarrassing. I had pit stains daily no matter what I wore. Finally I tried Certain Dri and it has worked wonders. I wore a rather fitted button down shirt the other day and I stayed dry ALL DAY. I kept checking for pit stains but they never showed up. I am so happy that I have finally found some relief for right now. I too was thinking of seeing a doctor and having the surgery. Four dollars is a lot cheaper and more convenient than surgery. Thank you Certain Dri, I hope it continues to work. :)

I've just started using Certain Dri and it's doing its job! I haven't been sweating, which is a great relief, I'm sure many of you agree. What I am concerned about is the 'rash' that we're warned about. My armpits are a little sore after I use Certain Dri, and I'm curious as to whether it has this effect on everyone? Or perhaps my skin is just too sensitive. Did anyone else find they were sore the next day?

I'm a freshmen in high school, and thought my life was completely over when I noticed my sweating problem. At first I really didn't think anything of it, until the sweating became more of a problem. I went into a very deep depression state, my grades dropped drastically when I stopped raising my hand to ask a question. I wanted to tell my parents about my problem, but ibwas afraid they would laugh at me. Sometimes I would go to sleep crying, because I hated my life, and couldn't take the embarresment anymore. It wasn't like others could see my problem, because i always wore baggy clothing and try to keep my arms at my side at all times. When i got home i would change right away to get out of my nasty wet cloths. I really limited myself on what I did so I didn't have to suffer the embarrsement. Finally I got the guts to tell my problem to my mother, so she took me up to the store and got some secret clincal stuff. I was so happy! Knowing it would work...but it didn't :( I told my mom and she said that was the best thing she could do for me. I went into an even deeper state of depression thinking that there was nothing out there to help me. Until one night I couldn't fall asleep, so I went on my iPod to google some solution to solve my problem. Thats when I found certain dri!!! At first I was like yeah right it won't work till I thought I'd give it a try. I was in shock the next day I used it, I was completely dry, with no wet sweaty marks!!! After that I cryed with joy knowing that my problem wasn't a problem anymore. Now I'm completely ok with my body, my grades have gone back up, and i were cloths that actually fit me. If you have a major sweating problem, and you want to be yourself again then I strongly suggest getting certain dri. If it helped me with my problem, then I'm sure it will work wonders for you too!!!

I used to always have to wear something bulky or heavy to hide the sweat underneath my arms.  Not anymore.  It is 100% dry all of the time.  Can get a little itchy and uncomfortable after a while but much better than being embarassed.

I am 34 and have had hyperhydrosis all my life and said I would believe it when I saw it work! Well it does! and like others on here I am so happy to have found this product. My wife did not realize how much this problem bothered me. I can relate to everyone on this thread to the point that it almost brought tears to my eyes to read about your experiences. Where has this stuff been? I have to thank the certain dri family THANKS SO MUCH.

That's mostly what I heard everyday!  I hated my excessive sweating problems.  I'm only a young adult girl not even a teen yet and I sweat through my shirt and through my jacket.  I wanted to stop it and found nothing that helped.  From DEGREE CLINICAL to SECRET CLINICAL STREANGTH! Nothing worked!  That was until I found Certain-Dri! The first day I applied it, I got great results.  The next morning I wore a different jacket!  I dressed up into my gym uniform! I was so happy! so far so good.. i can't believe this works! my problems got so bad to the point i wanted to get botox to stop excessive sweating. However, i saw a video clip online it looked so painful. after my older sister recommend me to use certain dri..i was surprised! i seen the commercial but, i had my doubts because i have used doctor prescribe anti perspirant it didn't work. Surprised how this is available over the counter and it works better than what my doctor gave me!!???

I'm 20 years old and have been dealing with excessive sweat under the pits for a couple of year. I am in college and work in an after school program with 1st graders = lots of sweating on the playground playing football and such!!!! I have been using Certain Dri for a week now and its AMAZING!!! i don't know why it took my so long to try this type of product!!

I have always been emabarrassed by the amount of sweat I think pours from under my arms and I have to thank Certain Dri for saving me. I used to worry about the stains that would show up on all my shirts and ruin some of my favorite things but not anymore. For the first time I can lift my arms above my head and now be afraid, which is so exciting for me :) Other products claim to do what Certain Dri has doen for me and I just want to say Thank You!!!

I have been using certain dri for a year now and I think is the est thing that ever happened to me. I was never able to wear anything with bright colors ever it was a nightmare i got sweat stains always , now that is a thing of the past. I used drisol too and it work but it burnes like crazy it was very strong. I guess drisol is nor for everybody but for me it is grea and I dont even have to use it every day anymore.

Certain dri Is the best stuff EVER! Before Certain dri I'd perspire like crazy! I thought I'd have to deal with it for the rest of my life. I've been using it for about a year now when I first started I'd use it everyday and did that for about 5months but now I use it about three times a week and I'm fine. However, I use the day Certain day every morning I still haven't tried using it every other day. I read how a few of you mentioned that Certain dri makes you itch i've felt the same and when I do I've found that its beacuse I apply it after shower/shaving so wait about an hour after helps and/or skipping a few days. Gosh if you haven't tried this stuff GO TRY IT!!! I buy mine at wal mart (both Certain dri night, which is green and the day one, which is blue). OH and when i started to use certain dri i only used the night one at night obviously and during the day I used a cream I still sometimes use during the say when I dont use the day certain day its "Arrid extra dry cream" it comes in a little white/blue/red box at walmart..good stuff as well!

I have looked for Certain dri in walmart and shoppers drug mart but no one has even heard of it. I think you have to order it online. Does anyone know if it's sold in stores in Toronto canada?

I'm a 25 year old man and I have had issues with sweating since I hit puberty at 11 or 12.

It would vary from day to day sometimes I would be able to hide the sweat rings by not raising my arms at all other times the rings would go all the way to my waist-it was disgusting. Most of the time I would put on my antiperspirant after I got out of the shower and by the time I got to school or work I would be pouring with sweat.

I started using certain dri a little over a month ago. It has worked almost miraculously. I don't follow the directions to the letter but I get close. I put it on every night about an hour or so before bed (to let it dry) and then shower as usual in the morning. I did skip a day to see how effective it was and while I didn't sweat as much as I used to I did get pretty wet so that's why I do it every night.

I won't lie I do get a little bit of dampness but it's never enough to soak through my shirt so I'm not worried about it. The only other downside is that I have reasonably sensitive skin and this stuff burns and itches when I put it on for a while and if I look in the mirror my armpits will be a little red but that goes away by the morning.

Wish I knew about this stuff in high school.

ive had a very bad sweating problem that came out of nowhere. i tried every deorderant and antipersant out there. none worked. then one day i saw a certain dri commercial. i went out and bought it. read the directions and thought they were ridiculous. so i used it during the day. of course it didnt work. about a year later. my self confidence hit an all time low. i couldnt wear a tee shirt or tank top with out sweating through it.i was desperate. so i decided to use the certain dri after reading about it in cosmogirl. ive been using it and can take off my hoodie and walk around with out any. none. sweat stains. im very very happy.

This stuff did not work at all for me its a waste of five dollars if you have excessive perspiration I suggest getting a perscription for "Drysol" . Certain Dri had my hopes up but failed me and dissappointed me I do not recommend , it still left me with big rings of sweat under my arms .

Ever since 8th grade, i have been sweating excessivly and because of this,I cannot wear certain shirts, or colors of shirts. It almost forces me to wear big, baggy clothes. Fed up with this, I went to google and found certain dri. It had great reviews but when I tried it it didn't do jack shit. I still was sweating the moment I got out of the door. I guess I'll have to try something else now :[ I would give this product zero stars if I could.

Certain Dri is amazing. It really was a miracle for me. I used to get horrible sweat stains, even if i showered and put anti-prespirant on, nothing worked. I would be embarassed to take off my jacket, & I would always try to keep my arms down and hide the stains as much as possible. Then i read about certain dri online, I didnt really think that it would work but decided to try it because something had to be done. The first night it burned really bad for about 10 minutes, but the next day i didnt sweat at all. Now it doesnt even burn, I can even go a day without putting it on. It got rid of those disgusting sweat circles. It is awesome, & im very happy with it.

Certain Dri works very well. After I started taking antidepressants, I noticed I began to get BO when I never had before! This is the only thing that worked. It does feel terrible when you put it on but I only do it right before I fall asleep. After a while, I can get away with only using it a couple times a week and I never have to worry about deoderant marks anymore!!

I just turned 17 in June, but I think I have had this sweating problem since about age 15. As soon as I would shower and dry off streams of sweat would pour down my side. This would leave a sweat stain under my armpits, and forced me to leave my jacket on during the whole school day(no matter what the weather was like outside). Talking about total embarassment and the struggle to find shirts in the morning that wouldn't visibly show these stains was a hassle. One night I was up watching television and seen a commercial advertising Certain-Dri. All commericals promised a 24 hour protection but I didn't agree (and trust me I had tried every anti-perspirant in the book). I decided not to ignore this commercial and buy this product; it did look different and even said pescription strength on the box. I could tell a difference the first night I used it, and now I use it every other day sweat-free. I did not even experience the stinging and itching that some said they had. I am not making any of this stuff up and I reccommend this product to anyone suffering with excessive underarm sweating and who has given up hope.

This is the best stuff ever...I wouldn't waste my money on anything else (especially if you have a real sweating problem). And since I only have to apply it every other day, a bottle lasts a long time.

This product has literally revolutionized my wardrobe. I used to wear shiny, black tops at all times because they were they only thing that didn't show sweat stains. I never left for work/school without a jacket. When I was growing up, I even had to turn down jobs because of the uniforms they wanted me to wear (bright colors show sweat). It does dry your skin and itch a bit, but it is totally worth it.

SOOOOO ALLERGIC to this stuff. It made me itch till I thought all my skin was gone. I followed the enclosed directions exactly as told. Awful, but I could see how this stuff may work for others.

I am very satisfied with this product! I have tried every deoderant out there for my excessive sweating, even went as far as buying the unscented mens deoderants. Nothing worked!!! With Certain Dri I have no sweating and no oder! It burns a little at first but so worth it!!!!!!!

I am fourteen years old and have been swetting since i hit puberty. I just started useing Certain Dri three days ago. When I first started useing it I only saw a reduction in amount of swetting. But after three days of useing it my swet was no more. Last night I celebrated my moms birthday with twenty other people. Like always I was scrambling to find something to wear that wouldn't show my embarassing secret. But durring the party I went to the Bathroom to see if it was working and to my surprise there was nothing there. Right there in the bathroom I started to cry. It was the first time in two years that there was absolutely no swet stains. Yes, in the begining there was some irrittion. I even resorted to sleeping with ice packs under my arms but I can honestly say it was worth it. Don't hesitate to go out and buy this product it's pretty cheap and can change your life for the better!!

omg im 12 and i used to sweat so bad . everyone in my grade is not developed but i am most people think im in 9th grade . so all these girls can wear whatever they want and i would have to cover myself up. im in good shape and can wear hollister and abercrombie but i would always cover it up. i would start sweating the minute i got on the bus and by the time i walked into first period i would have sweat rings (i only have a 10 min bus ride . my mom always was like oh its just part of growing up but i would try all kinds of anti persperants nothing worked. i saw certain dri at cvs when me and my freind went so i decided to buy it. 1 day after i bought it it started working im so dry and i get to show off my awsome clothes now guys even think im cooler because im not wearing big bulky sweatshirts its changed my life i deffinetly recommend this to everyone with a sweating problem.

i need help. i have used certain dri for about 4 days and ive jusr reduced my sweating. i was wondering if this is normal or i should try to find another deodorant. i need to know how long it takes for this stuff to work. many people say it helped them stop the first time they used it but i am still yet to completly stop sweating. and i still get HUGE sweat stains on my clothes, its totally embarrasing and i hide in sweatshirts all the time. please help me.

Hi. I use to sweat excessively. It was so embarassing. I remember one day when my sweat was all the way down mthe side of my shirt. I always wore sweaters, never wanted boyfriends cause i was so embarassed. Ruined so many cut clothes. I wasted so much money on all different deoderants and everything. Nothing worked. I went a year without even telling anyone about the problem. One day i told my mom and we seen a commercial on tv for certain dri. I figured it would be just like the rest a waste of money. NOthing ever worked. I figured why not i'll try it. I applied it that night and the next day i was so dry and shocked. I went to volleyball practice and didnt even sweat. I felt confident and like everyone else who didnt have big old puddles druping on the underarms and sides of their shirts. I love this product. I got it for like $6 and it really works. If anyone has this problem i highly recommend it, at least give it a try. I dont know how to stop my hand sweating though. So if anyone has any ideas i want to know.

Well, I finally found a store that carries Certain Dri today, after many trips to the deodarant asile of many stores. I read on the net that Wal-mart, safeway, and almost all drug stores carry it, but if you live in Canada, I'd make London Drugs your first stop. It's the only place that I can it find here. I'm pretty stoked to try it out tonight and see how it works. I'm expecting it to work pretty good based on the other comments.

even though i am thin i have had a sweating problem since 7th grade. It hasn't been so bad up until 8th grade i was constantly picking out clothes that wouldn't show sweat stains! i couldn't wear cute clothes because the sweat would go through and make HUGE marks. for about a week i tried to wear normal clothes without jackets and i tried just pushing up the sleeves well everyday i would come home in a good mood, take one look in the mirror and be mortitfyed! i looked online and found certain dri. the first day it worked good but i still had sweat stains the second day it worked good and i didnt have any marks but i was still hot and sweaty, today i was cool as a cucumber!

I've heard medical recommendations against anti-persperants. You perspire for a reason. And the perfumy deodorants only last as long as the perfume. I'm told that the best deodorant are the salt crystals that you moisten and apply to your underarms. The salt apparently stops or slows the reproduction of the odor causing bacteria, so you can sweat freely with no odor. It works for me.
