SRT 8 Charger vs SRT 8 Challenger 5

I own a '06 Charger R/T. And after driving both a challenger and charger SRT8 I thought I'd write my own review of the 2 cars.

Based from what I've seen stat wise the Charger overall wins a hands down race stock srt8 vs stock srt8 hands down.

It isnt a BLOW OUT race but over all especially at 60+ it has a better top end speed.

a Big let down is the fact that the Challenger weighs an extra 200-400lbs more [ouch]!


Like the charger it is a fat girl with lotsa power.

1 of the prime reasons why this car has trouble beating Mustangs of the same class. They are much lighter vehicles with nice engines.

For looks, the charger is PISSED OFF looking from the front line, and hasd nice lines.

The Challenger of course loooks like the oldschool with a lot of new school :)

The both ride soooo well. Very smooth almost no matter what the situation. hitting 145 is very smooth and climbing higher [omg] it doesn't get any less smoother. You honestly feel as if your going 100 when you at 160.


Both great vehicles with their own bit of class... but if your looking for the slightly faster car with more room, go to the charger. If your oldschool, go to Challenger. :)
