I wasn't a huge fan,but it was sad to see him go so ignominiously.

I'm happy he died the way he did - if he had to at all. It means that I can laugh instead of mourn.Auto-erotic Asphyxiation is the way to go if you're depressed. At least he died happy. This is easily one of the most tragic deaths in my book, though. Michael Jackson is up there, and so is Ted Kennedy. But I had the most emotional connection to David. Here's a list that's being updated to the HOUR. I checked it when Dominick Dunne died and it was already on there, wikipedia-style. http://www.ranker.com/list/i-see-dead-people---top-famous-deaths-of-2009/bbk32Anyway, not enough love for David Carradine on here. RIP.

He sure found an interesting way to go...

This would of made an EXCELLENT Seinfeld episode:Jerry: It's David Carradine! He's hanging in my closet! He's Dead!George: What's that rope around his privates for?Jerry: Grasshopper, evidently he was not "Master of his Domain"George: we should of had him in our contest.

I guess he missed this bit of ancient wisdom back in his Kung Fu days...When having problems getting grasshopper to hop best to steer away from creepy weird stuff and spare yourself and others possible public humiliation.

I think he will always be remembered for Kung Fu more than anything he did since, fans of Quentin Tarantino will also know him as "Bill" from the Kill Bill series. I did meet him once about 3 years ago and he seemed an okay person.

The way he died, I have little sympathy for. Hanging yourself in a sex act.

The hotel staff should have known something was up when he requested the Michael Hutchence Suite. I wonder if Carl Douglas will sing at his funeral.

I think that he was ok. I just have a neutral feeling on him. He played a certain type of tough character that was always the same. He was kind of strange in Kill Bill. I knew it was acting but. I never really watched the TV show much but I would see it occasionally. I had begun to see him in some new movies and it was more like an oh no factor. I met his former son-in-law in LA who was telling me about acting, etc. We watched TV together and he asked me to a movie. It gave me a different perspective on it.

A mediocre actor at best. The Kill Bill movie brought him back from the dead as he acted well in that film. His unusual death is the only reason he is getting so much attention.

Yes-first he was probably one of the great martial arts stars but he also did other projects, he was very entertaining-I just adored him really, I even liked him in the phone book commercials!

Always a sad story, I only know that David Carradine's half-brother, Robert, played Lewis in Revenge of the Nerds.

I only know him from Kill Bill, but Still sad.

The name sounds somewhat familiar, but I couldn't have told you what he did. Looks like he was in a ton of films and TV shows, and I'm hearing Kung Fu and Kill Bill stand out the most. I'm not familiar with Kung Fu and didn't care for Kill Bill. Sorry David...your passing means nothing to me.
