Bush, Fox and Martin should be brought up on charges of Treason for trying to bring about the North American Union.

He is our good friend to the South. It doesn't look like he stole anything. Mexican politicos are a bunch of crooks, but this guy appears to be the exception. All he wants to do is send all his criminals and poverty types across our border so we can take care of them.
tocwelsh 12/24/2004
Needs to get off his rear end and take his country out of poverty, Mexicans are crossing the border illegally to the USA by the thousands every day for a chance of a better life, disgraceful President that has left his people behind......
truthordare 09/03/2004
Meet the new boss........same as the old boss. They (mexicans) will be fooled again.
numbah16tdhaha 08/09/2004
What does he do again?
owl1962 08/09/2004
Arrogant, presumes to lecture the American Congress on what our immigration policy should be. It is not the responsiblity of the United States to solve Mexico's problems by absorbing millions of illegals.
LadyShark4534 11/25/2003
It's good that he wants to improve the finance problems in Mexico, but he needs to actually do it instead of just talking.
lowrider 07/07/2003
he is trying to clean up mexico's government but it's a big job too many corrupt people from low level gov to the top
Joe23665 04/16/2003
Could he come up on weekends and send Bush to Katmandu?
Rusty 03/13/2003
I can give an OK rating to this guy because he's for NAFTA and for creating job growth and stimulating the economy of his nation. Mexico has a long ways to go in terms of catching up to AMERICA such as paying a decent wage, clean air, environment, dealing with corrupt unions there as here in this country, plus he's a friend of George Bush.
zetabosio 02/24/2003
At least Fox is consistent with what the Mexicans want, and this is one of the main aspects that describes a great leader: Represents its people and defends what they believe. I'll hardly believe that Bush has max 60% of the Americans on his side, and even your own people describe him as unreliable and biased (cfr, Krugman). Who can be smart enough to start two wars simultaneously and have half the world against him? What impresses me the most is Bush's manicheism: "If you're not with me, you're against me. Since Saddam is 'evil' and you don't want war, then you're 'evil'". I'm most certain that even Martha Stewart is in shock.

Any man who knocks down the scum in PRI is a gift from God.

Do the words "international boundary", "illegal", and "overburdened infrastructure" mean anything to you, Senor Fox?
Fredwah 12/14/2002
An arrogant jerk who thinks for some reason that the US shouldn't have a border.
Shukhevych 12/08/2002
He tries to dump all of his unemployed into the US... he is a criminal.
rocer 11/14/2002
I love our president. I'm happy to see the changes. it is easier to see them from outside than from within the country. I left the country for NY when the PRI won in 1994, and now I wouldn't mind going back. PRI's Madrazo is the biggest latent cancer of Mexico nowadays, and threatens every good idea Fox comes up with. Even Mexico City governor Lopez "El Peje" Obrador has soften his relationship with the president. Hopefully PRI will stop hindering Fox's ideas. Why the hell we want PEMEX to be still a goverment owned company if they probed to be worst CEO's? Just because it was expropriated about 60 years ago? Or just is it just a silly inertia?

A man who comes under false pretenses. He claims to want to promote economic growth through US mexican trade, but he has no economic plan for his own people. A man who has serious economic problems at home but he has no economic policy or solution within the borders of Mexico. His only solution is to tell his countrymen and women to come to the US illegally. He encourages people to break the law. Everyone out there that thinks that illegals coming here illegally is no big deal better think again. The system is already overloaded financially from paying for healthcare for illegals. It cost California and Texas 150 million dollars a year just to care for injured and sick illegals. That is 150 million tax dollars that are lost to the citizens of those states. You better wake up people and face the fact that an open border is not a good thing. If you want to see what an open border will create you need look no farther than Tiajuana.

Vicente Fox is the greatest hope for Mexico. Although he has said that he will devote the nation to an isolationist foreign policy, like it has been for 100 years; he will reform the system of government in the country. I believe that he will try to take care of the drug problem through stricter law enforcement. Hopefully, the border will continue to open up with Mexico. Americans can only benefit from free trade. Free trade means more jobs for Americans, more avilable resources for market consumption and stricter environmental standards. Hopefully, the recent setback with the Mexican trucks not being able to enter U.S. territory will not lead to a trade war with Mexico. Mexican trucks have an equal safety rating than American or Canadian trucks do. The reason why it did not pass the Senate was because the Democrats and their union cohorts want to protect UNION jobs without regard to newer, higher paying jobs which will be offered as a result of free trade. I believe that in order for us to enter the new world of nations, we must drop this silly protectionist philosophy which only benefits a few powerful people. Fox has already negociated a peace settlement with insurgents in the province of Chiapas and reform will continue within the government. Hopefully, NAFTA will be able to work better under him.

Vincente Fox is to Mexico what Benigno Aquino was to the Philippines, Nelson Mandela was to South Africa, and David Ben-Gurion was to Israel -- the popular standard bearer of people who finally wriggled out from under an oppressive thumb. Mexico always had the ability to be a first-tier nation, and under Señior Fox, they just might do it. Buenas suerte!

I believe this man can get the best relationship with the US Mexico has had throughout history! The dream would be to unified the US & Mexico or accepting Mexico as an US state! :-)
Arcadion 03/11/2001
Ugh, I'm jealous of Mexico! They get Fox, and we have...Dubya. Wanna trade? Seriously! We'll give you Arizona, or something, and we get the president.
majamojo 01/27/2001
I am glad to see that Mexico has a better President then our jokster here in the United States. Too bad North America couldn't be on great nation under Sr. Vincente Fox!!!!!
