I love him. I'm in Spanish 1, and I get really excited everytime I understand Spanish. I love laughing at him and then having to explain it to my brother. Plus, Spanish is a beautiful laguage!

He deserves better. Without him the show would fall apart.

I think one of the Spanish channels could take it's ratings through the roof with "Ay Carumba" starring the Bumblebee Man. It would be a situational comedy and in every episode, he would have to get himself out of some sort of crazy predicament with one of his famous catch phrases. "El diablo es aqui"

How can you not like such a random character?!

No, no, no. Es trágico! This is a low character if there ever was one. He doesn't fulfill any sort of purpose on this show. Just a filler, and not a good one at that.

"Aye, carumba." "AAAA!! Naranjas en la cabeza!(translation: oranges on the head!)" He doesn't appear enough, yet is still a comical character.

Another funny, but underused character.

In television, as in life, there comes a certain moment when a character will do something so big, so courageous, so daring, that witnesses to the event will know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the character in question has reached the apex of their existence. It is rare, however, that this type of watershed moment will happen TWICE - and that is what makes the case of Bumblebee Man so interesting. Scene 1: Sideshow Bob has taken over the television frequencies and is forcing all of the local Springfield programming off of the air. Bumblebee Man somehow manages to keep the Spanish language channel running until nearly the end, and with tears running running down his face, manages to pitch the channel's sponsors one last time before signing off. Scene 2 features an equally courageous Bumblebee Man: Mr. Burns has blocked out the sun, and Springfield is paralyzed. Rather than sit quietly and accept his fate, Bumblebee Man, in perhaps his finest moment, composes a scathing Salsa piece (in Spanish) which eloquently captures the pain that Springfield is going through with no sun. While Bumblebee Man is rarely used on the show, his small voice is clearly an important one.

The Bumblebee Guy works his heart out on cable-access television, but he just never seems to get the big break he needs. If he asks for two eggs, for instance, they're likely to be thrown at him, with one covering each eye, prompting him to moan, "Que lastima!" Many people would crack under that kind of pressure, but the Bumblebee Man seems to stay pretty optimistic, regardless of the disasters that relentlessly plague him.
