This is the best school for so many reasons. The academics are enriched, the teachers/admin/staff are warm and friendly and the parent community is amazing! There are many activities to bring the community together, sponsored both by the school and its very active PTA. The only issue is that it ends too soon--at 6th grade with students going to larger Academic Centers attached to Whitney Young and Taft HS. The students don't want to leave and the parents certainly don't want to place their children in a large environment with teenagers any earlier than necessary.
