There's enough laughs to get through an initial viewing, although I'd recommend beer (considering the point of the movie, I guess some would suggest pot, but I find laughing at high people to be more fun when I'm a bit inebriated). There isn't really any reason to watch it again, unless you had too much beer the first time around.

I think it's a terrible film, but for some reason I've always found it rather amusing - amusing enough for it to warrant 3 stars; but I'd still warrant caution before considering this film.

Bravo to the other reviewer- this is trash. Classic PG-13 movie that should have been an "R" rated drug-fest/sleaze pic. Classic gutless Hollywood. My college roomates thought it was hilarious. I drank their beer as punishment for wasting my time.

Another movie sci-fi/fantasy movie based upon the happenings revolving around two unsophisticated indeviduals. "Dude, where's my car!?" is the story... simple as that. The sub-plots and mediocre comedy will have you only mildly amused. I rate this movie at two out of five.

How can anyone not like this?! Yeah it's totally stupid and pointless but soooo hillareous. Mindless, pointless, stupid but funny film. Why does every film have to make sense? "What does my tatoo say dude... sweet. What does mine say?... Dude.. yeah but what does mine say? and the "And then... and then... and then" and the part where Chester is eating that donut cracks me up for some reason. Totally brill if you wanna cheer up.
