DO NOt SEND your child to this school!!!! First MS RIVERS the owner, hits the children. the cook does NOt wear an apron, hair net or gloves while preparing the meals, the bathrooms are dirty. I use to work their, when I quite i returned back for my belongings (teacher reference books)she would NOT give them to me. NOw tell me whats wrong with this picture--she has ALL new staff-been their 16 years. But every year ALL her staff quite on her.... Since Septmber i have notice 5 teachers to quite in 3 weeks, now something gotta be wrong. don't get me wrong I BELIEVE in GOD, but daycare centes are not suppose to say prayer because of different religious belief. she MAKe them pray. Daycare their curriculum is "LEARN THROUGH PLAY" MS. RIVERS makes the children do ditto sheets ALL DAY. She need to sit her ass down and retire, give up the business before she is closed down!!!!!! because next time I see or hear her hitting on a child I am calling DCFS

This center is a DISGRACE!!!!!! The owner Mrs. Rivers is rude and very nasty to her staff. She always makes comments about black people working, putting them down! (She's black herself)!
My child attends the school now, in which I'm about to transfer her out, Since September 8, 2009--Yes within 15 days, three staff members have quite. The children's bathroom is dirty, floor has grinded in dirt on it, her staff appear to be very polite but it appears that they are exhaulted already and the school year has not even started!!!!i do NOT see how this school is a 3 STAR!!!!

My child has been attending Bethune for ten months.
The facilty is always clean.
The bathroom is not disgusting and its suited just right for the children.
My child is 3yrs old and being there has taught her to utilize her motor skills.
She can write recognize her name and even knows who the president is at three years of age.
Bethune was an excellent choice for my daughter and i do not have a negative thing to say about the school. On a scale of 1-10 i give it a 20 :)

The owner and director of this center is a disgrace to society. She mentally and emotionally abuse her employees, with derogotory remarks - in the presence of parents and visitors; stating that she does not like to work with niggers. She has mistreated children with insults and have denied after school kids proper care. The facility is dirty and the bathrooms are disgusting.
