Before I start on how horrible this magazine is organized, let me say that this magazine has the BEST photographer EVER. Every picture is amazing I remember a certain issue where they had a Ferrari Enzo, Benz SLR and Carrera GT, the pictures were breath taking.

Now to the bad stuff, this magazine has a bad comparison layout, while the comparisons of cars themselves make self, the way they get the winner makes almost no sense. There are no points just a closing paragraph that tells you which car is the best and why it could be the best. This is frustrating especially when you have a group of cars, say 4, as you would like to see which one is the worse or which one comes in second. While this can be usually infered through what they say about the car itself, sometimes it's just too close to call.

Another thing I find weird is just exactly what the organization of this magazine is. Sometimes they have the Long-Term Drives in the front other times it's in the back of the magazine, sometimes Previews are in the front sometimes their in the back, everything is all over the place, I'd rather they find a decent layout and stick to it because it gets rather annoying.

Other than those two complains this is a solid Automobile Magazine.

My main beef is the fact that the comparison tests are filled more with editor's pictures and opinions than with useful automotive information or car photos. Their road tests for a single car are good though, and the photography is great. But overall I give it a 2, because most of it is not worth my $4.

The BEST of American automotive magazines!! Could be more complete, but I guess you have to choose where the cut off point is. Peter Egans column is almost always full of interesting stories or insights. It's usually my first stop! Then Technical Correspondence/Tidbits. Third would be the letters, and finally the rest. I've been a subscriber for years and don't see any end in sight.

Rather thin on articles and heavy on advertisements plus its too expensive. Overall, not impressive!
