03/09/2004 | I tried this diet and it definitely works if you have the time to devote into it. I was able to stay on it for 3 weeks and then I lost interest. It is a good system for stay at home moms.

12/06/2003 | Richard's program really works. His cruises are fantastic. He is genuine and highly motivating HIs program is the only way I've ever lost weight and kept it off (I'm in my 8th yr. on Richard's program.)

11/10/2002 | RICHARD SIMMONS IS A THIEF! At least his corporation is! He is fraudiently charging my debit card $9.95 per month - even though I said to stop. He has SEVERAL complaints on complaints.com about him (including my full story!). AVOID GIVING HIS COMPANY ACCESS TO ANY FINANCIAL INFORMATION!!!!!

06/29/2002 | i personaly have to rate this one because i met him and he is really funny and nice.. He is/was really dedicated to helping people... Plus i have family who went on diets and this was one of the only ones that ever worked!

03/07/2002 | Richard Simmons plan is a Weight Watchers meeting on steroids. Mainly he presents the same information that all other well balanced diet plans do (aka as the Diabetic Diet I mentioned in my Weight Watchers post) but makes his ideas seem more substantial by distracting you with products. His little cards, which have now morphed into a little job with sliding windows (looking for all intents and purposes like a techno toy sans microchips) are nice organizational tools but really little else. Not surprisingly, Richard also has a never-ending line of other helpful products from water filtering bottles to exercise tapes to scales (that BTW do NOT work well so save your money!). I get kind of a kick out of him, think his diet info is basically sound but I know that, in reality, he’s a carnival act in shorts and a tank top.
