Blood Type Diet 3

I can't find a way that this would work or be scientifically helpful. But Since Tom Wilson has gotten better because of it, Then I guess it may just be a safe procedure.

I'm dissapointed to see credible voices in science use mocking type language about this way of living (not just eating). It has completely changed my life for the better and not just in generic ways. Take time with this and read it all for yourself, follow it just as it is written and don't allow naysayers and generic fears discourage you from the truth that lies here. Please note that the vast majority of articles criticizing it do so with venom and in doing so show a particular agenda. The world being round was once a hilarious proposition to the best minds. I am thankful and blessed to have experienced the changes that come from this way of life. Anyone can call me to discuss my praise for it at 817-795-0958. I live in Arlington, TX. Thanks!

look the true key to losing weight is exercise. everyone knows that yet we all continue to let these con artists take our money. jog, walk, do aerobics! anything but fad diets. in 1991 when i was 17 i weight 245 lbs and decided to lose weight. now i did cut down my food intake a bit(skipped the twinkies after high school and the 2nd and 3rd helpings of dinner) but for the most part--i exercised. three times a week i did the original Sweating to the Oldies tape. i didnt do Richard Simmons "deal-a-meal" just the exercise. i ended up going from 245 down to 170 lbs which of course, i managed to hang on to until i turned 21 and discovered booze plus 3am binge eating while drunk. of course to balance that i walk 4 miles a day to and from my job. fad diets arent healthy.

Eat for your blood type? Yeah, right! This one claims that people relate to food and absorb various nutrients based on the type of blood they have. Here's how it plays out: Blood type O should eat mostly meat, type A mostly fruits and vegetables, and grains, type B's eat oat and rice, flours, bananas and other prescribed foods, and Types AB eat foods like tofu, sardines, oats, and rice. The big danger here is that it breaks one of the basic rules of good nutrition by eliminating entire food groups. This obviously is going to leave you with a dificientcy or abscence of essential nutrients. Now couple that with the fact that there is "no scientific evidence using blood type as an eating guide to lose weight and there is no data showing that pre-historic people with any particular blood type ate this way." (from the Dairy & Nutrition Council). What I'm seeing here is simply an attempt (by 'Naturopathic Physician' Peter D'Adamo) at making a quick buck by attempting to sell the public on yet another pointless and possibly dangerous diet book. You would do better to take the much more sensible advice of Snoopy (this page) than waste your time and money on this hooey.

I don't know exactly what it is, but the name sounds like one of those fad diets that doesn't really work, or could even be dangerous. I'll stick to eating healthy and in moderation, drinking lots of fluids, and getting regular exercise. That's the most healthy way to lose weight, IMHO.
