Thist was THE WORST birth control i've ever used!!!

I'm a 26 year old mother with 2 children. I've tried a few different birth controls and this was by far the WORST.

I had a period for 11 months straight. not a single day that I didn't have that inconvenience. It didn't stop until I got fed up and had it removed.

I know a few friends who have also said they have this problem as well.

I would recommend YAZ. I switched to it about 8 months ago and it's perfect. no major symptoms and no constant period.

i really cant say anything bad about it i just got it today, i was on the shot and i never stop bleeding and i wanted something that lasted a bit longer so i went with the implanon and they say it will help me stop bleeding we will see. my arm is a lil tender but other then that im fine give me about a month or two and ill really let you know if i like it or not

I have a love hate relationship with implanon, its great because its the easiest birth control method out there and i suck with remembering the pill. But it kinda sucks because I have now been on it for more then a year and I have been on my period about 75% of the time. Im that 3/10 people that have abnormal bleeding and eventually take it out. Im actually going to get it removed today, im sad but happy theres no more bleeding!!!

Inserted with a needle about the size of a drinking straw.Eek! Tough to look at while they put it in, and it makes your arm sore for a few days. It is about $700, but it does last 3 years. Mine however lasted only 6 months as it failed to end my unending period caused by Depo-provera (the shot). No side effects for me. Maybe i would have liked it better if Depo hadn't screwed me up in the first place...
