I wonder if this story is bigger overseas. . .in a strange way, this story quickly disappeared off the map. . .too quick for my tastes.

The deadliest crash in Air France's history, and the worst crash involving this particular model of aircraft. At the time of writing, the cause of the crash is unknown, although there is speculation that an air speed indicator failure, combined with high levels of turbulence might have been the problem. To date there is no indication of terrorism, or faulty maintenance procedures involved.

I am sure this is very significant for the familys and friends of the people on board the plane, Air France, and the manufacturer of the plain, and hopefully this is a lesson to other airlines that this is what can happen if you don't repair your plains when they need it.

Terrifying in the dearth of pre and post crash information. Where are the conspiracy nuts who will swear to you that 9/11/01 was an inside job? Are they all still taking their warm Obama bath?
