Tara is a wonderful feisty character. She has had a hard life, but she keeps on fighting. She takes crap from nobody. You can see the longing little girl still inside her.

Tara Thornton's character is one of the most interesting in the True Blood series for me. Rutina Wesley plays the deeply flawed, confused and strong-willed role well, and her story is one of the more unique aspects to the series.
