Does this film need to be remade? No! What made the original film so great was the cheesy performance given by Governor Schwarzenegger. If they remake this film it is bound to be closer to the book I'm sure, though it's likely to be taken seriously (which the book is) and I don't think it could be seen that way without constantly looking back at what was a very memorable film.
