The cartoon wasn't anything to rave about (even though I watched it sometimes). A remake of it wouldn't interest me in the slightest, animated or live-action.

I might Watch this, I loved the cartoon When I was a Kid. I used to have the He-man action figure and his Little purple Tiger.

I'm actually looking forward to this one... assuming it ever leaves the fiery pits of development hell.

The concept is that the new film would be called "Grayskull" and would cover the origins of He-man, Skeletor and the Power Sword whilst all being set on Eternia (unlike the original movie from the 80's which got set on Earth). From what I've read, assuming it's true, it would be an amazing film and would draw strongly from the mythology they built up in the Masters of the Universe comics.
