rob_jessel - you're just plain cruel. I've lived without my baby now since leaving Blighty in September 07 for the great State of the Lone Star, and here you are waxing lyrical about your both recent and frequent pleasures in her company. Brit Girl - I'm so sad for you that you never saw it in England. Here's the thing, it was never (that I ever found) on tap in any pub so you had to pay thru the nose for a shitey little bottle that cost more than a pint SHOULD have cost. Seems to degrade it but I most only ever found it in supermarkets. Least then it was a respectable 440ml can, and four of 'em at that. Always interested me that it ignored all the 5-ish% better-brand ciders by being 8.4% (for those of the U.S. persuasion I mean %VOLUME not proof, I trust you know a proof strength rating is in real terms around half the strength of a volume rating with the same number? eg from my other baby Sloe Gin (where o where is a GOOD one here in Texas as the Dekuypers is NASTY bad!??!!!) the strength there of 26%vol would read around 52proof) - so - better brands were 5ish% but K was 8.4.......yet the crappy ciders that teenies would get drunk stupid on at parties (White Lightening et al) that were also up around 8% were, well, crap. K managed to be good strength and GOOD :)But now I'm here. And it's there. And I'm sad and living off the occasional finding of Woodchuck's Amber variety (Granny Smith might be the best apples to eat but for cider?.....nah. Too sweet). So K is good, Stateside is bad (don't all shoot me I love it here specially down here in TX and specially now your summer's kicking back in and triple-digit-temps are wandering toastily by now&again), bad in it's dearth of K supplies, and I love its flavour - not sweet but not as dessicatingly dry as some drinks at all, and its strength while still being genuinely good unlike cheapie crappy teenage-party-pissup-ciders.Sorry too keep all ya'll and bore ya'll so dang long - I've had this bugbear for 22months now and there's still no end in sight :(BritGirl - IF you go and IF you bring some back - I'll gladly furnish you with my address and some postage money!!! :)

I LOVE K. HAVE BEEN DRINKING IT FOR NEARLY 2 YEARS, BUT WITHIN THE LAST 3 MONTHS IT'S BEEN DISAPPEARING IN THE DETROIT AREA AND I HAVE TO FIND LOCAL PARTY STORES THAT STILL HAVE IT IN STOCK. MOST OF THE OWNERS HAVE TOLD ME THAT THEY DON'T MAKE IT ANYMORE. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT'S WHAT OR WHERE I CAN ORDER MORE. I HATE BEER AND REALLY HATE DRINKING ANYTHING ELSE. ONCE YOU'VE GONE WITH K, IT'S HARD TO DO ANYTHING ELSE. IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME SOME ANSWERS, CONTACT taoyinyang@ymail.com

Yummy and fresh, this is my very favorite hard cider. Wish it wasn't so hard to find.

if anyone currently has a bottle, there is a contact phone number on it. could you post that here? I called a few months ago, when I still had a bottle, and the lady told me it had to do with distributors and to have my local wine shop call, of couse he didn't. I want to call back and see what else I can do, of if I can order it through the mail.

First of all CHEERS Rob J.!!!!!!!! I love this brew! Don't know what ya'll are talkin about lil bottles. Here in KC I've only found the 22oz'ers (650ml). Like any other brew, it MUST be ICE cold for me. Price is very good for this size of import in my area. I love the flavor. I'll damn sure be drinkin more of this. Wish I could find it in cases or 12 pks round here. Happy drinkin!

A paean to K All you British expats, who can only lay their hands on the little bottles, you have my eternal sympathy. To paraphrase Dr Johnson - beer is for boys; wine for men; but if you aspire to be a hero, you must drink K! For the last month or so, I've been drinking four cans of K cider a night. A around 4.2 units a can, that works out at about 120 units a week. I just can't get enough of the stuff. It's my friend, my lover, my confidant. I wake up each morning with its taste on my gummy lips. When I'm awake I count the hours until 6 o'clock, when I can crack open a can in front of the tv and let the bittersweet nectar trickle down my gullet. Different types of alcohol can have different effects on the body: whisky makes me aggressive; gin depressed; homebrew makes me dreamy. K, on the other hand, hugs me, rocking me slowly back and forth, whispering in my ear: It's alright, lover, it's alright. Everything is alright.

Definitely an acquired taste (approx 3 Hours),1st bottle is vile, 2nd bottle is bearly drinkable, 3rd bottle tasteless,4th bottle, who care's about taste,5th bottle delivers the knockout punch,so it's good night from the mighty K,till tommorow night when your ready to do battle again.

Brit girl in the States looking for a decent cider to cool me on hot summer days, and sorry but the American stuff just doesn't cut the mustard. Tried Hornsby's but it tastes like apple juice, way too sweet. Thankfully I found some K, which I've never even seen in England before, and it's perfect. Not too sweet, not too dry, just a nice smooth taste in an attractive bottle. Must find some when back in England!

K is missing in action here in Seattle too - I requested it at my local wine dealer and they've been promising me it for months. Where is K?

TONS of alcohol for a cider, but they shaft you with those itty bitty bottles!
