same here. I'm 32 now and been having acne since i was 15. So been there with tons of derm, meds, over counters, pills pills pills. Facials, lemon juice...you name it man. I was using 2.5% benz. peroxide with a ligt lotion at night with Bactrim pills. Works fine but darken face by sunlight in morning. I just started Epiduo and since i was already using a tye of BP 2.5% it wasnt' a bad switch since i won't get the worst before better, since my face already got used to the BP 2.5%. With Epiduo it feels smooth and i don't need to add lotion lik e with BP straight. So let's see how it goes for a few months. For $200 ($20 really) it better be worth the price else going back to the 2.5% bottle form acne.com for like $16.

well., i am only 17; but i know all about acne. terrible., huge., cystic acne. that hurts., and all you want to do is squeeze it because you want everything out of it. and i have scarred myself pertty badly on my face., chest and back., which gives me low confidence. and i have been to a zillion derms and been on a zillion medications; such as., doxycycline., minocycline ., tetracycline... but i am now on a pill called amoxicillin., which is an antibiotic that she says should help it and i use epiduo. right now it pretty much burns my face off and i hate that. but i am hoping it gets better. but i have been getting microdermabrasion done on my face., and let me tell you; it has helpes sooo much.! and last year before prom i started getting jessner chemical peels on my chest and my back., and they help tremendously on the scarring and the marks. it took alot of them away because it peels away layers of skin and fades the marks out. for the most part i was pleased with them and i am goi... hello .. just reporting back after being on epiduo starting on the 31st of august was my first day..... today is the 5th of sept. so about a wk.. i have some breakouts.. not to many.. what makes my face look really bad is i have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, know as PIH on my face which is after u get a zit there is a little red mark that stays there due to more melanin in your skin or something like that.. but if it werent for that my skin would look pretty awesome.. the derm said give it 3 mts to 2yrs to go away!!!! thats crazy.. i just want my face back! but for the most part using the epiduo in the morning and aczone at night before bed i think is working pretty well for now.. i do have some breakouts that have come to the surface but like the doc said.. it'll get worse before it gets better.. so im just waiting for the days to go by ..... if anyone has any suggestions what i should do to get rid of the PIH a little faster or have heard success with a product let me know...... Hello I am a 26 year old female. I have been in epiduo for 2 months now. At first my break out became worse and I had some side effects such as burning, redness, itching, and some mild peeling. It lasted for about 3 weeks. Now I am just over the two month make and I have seen major improvement. I still have some acne spots and get a new pimple here and there, but they seen to be much smaller and go away faster than before. People have even complemented my skin now. I am glad I gave it a go.

I really like this medicine. I've been struggling with acne for over 10 years and I've tried tons of different treatments and combinations of treatments. This product has worked unexpectedly well for me. It did at first make my acne worse and it did at first make my skin peel a little and a bit dry, but after a few weeks, my skin got used to it and the dryness cleared up. I do still have some acne (I've only been on it for 2 months) but the bit I do have clears up way faster than it used to. I had a whitehead yesterday that, first of all, did not turn into a bug zit like usual, but second of all, the entire mark where it was is completely gone today. I've noticed that the blackheads around/on my nose are actually gone (which never happened better, even with the best exfoliants) and I haven't had a big painful zit since three weeks after starting the medicine. I gave it 4 stars, not five, only because it does take about a month to even start seeing results and it does make your skin wor... Read more
