a 3.5. movie comes from the book of the same name by Jodi Picoult. first of all I read the book a few years ago. if someone has read the book first. they may be disappointed to find out this movie has a very different ending. a young girl named Anna hired a lawyer to help her from being a body donor to her cancer striken older sister Kate. Anna was a test tube baby that was born to be there to be a donor to her sister. Anna has gone through years of tests, bone marrow doner. now kate is sicker than ever and needs a kidney. Anna's kidney. Anna is tired of being a spare parts donor so she hires the lawyer to get rights to her own body.the movie has lots of flashbacks starting from when Kate is first diagnosed. the movie ends in a very different way than the book. some may be mad about that. some of the acting is good. not a terrible movie but could be upsetting for those who read the book.
