Funny, when someone is a 'bit' player they sure do get around.http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0301874/Her largest role was that of priest Elosha in one of the finest sci-fi series around, Battlestar Galactica.

As an actress she was nothing more than a bit player. I suspect that was something to pay the bills and support her real interest (and talent) as a playwright. She lived in my city and I've seen a couple of her plays. She had some writing chops, and while I can't say I'll particularly mourn her, I'll certainly miss her more than the two more famous mopes (Fawcett and Jackson) who died the same day.

I'm pretty sure we are stretching the definition of "celebrity" past its breaking point by including some one whose biggest credit could possibly be "Old lady in car #1" in the film Fantastic Four.

I've certainly never heard the name Lorena Gale before and she is no more familiar to me now after having looked her up.

With her first accredited appearance coming in 1982, Lorena played numerous bit parts in movies, never landing a major role. You will find her in such movies as "Ernest Goes to School", "The Butterfly Effect", "The Chronicles of Riddick" and many TV shows. As one of the many celebrity deaths that will go unnoticed by the media this year, may your R.I.P Lorena.
